welcome to the forum again?? You are on the right track. Research like this can actually be fun. Kinda like bein in a school with no authorities.
2' of height, in my opinion, will not be enough to do a good job with WW. I had a couple of widows in my first large grow. I had plenty of height, 10' ceilings, and I had read that messing with the plants does not increase yield so I let them grow. The wet cola weight was over 100 grams. Plants finished at 39". BY the second time around I had read information on topping, fim, lst etc. Sounded cool. I had 8 colas on one plant. Wet cola weight for all 8?? 67 grams. BUT man, did it look cool. You do not increase yield by doing these things unless you increase the time to harvest.
You need to have 3 1/2 to 4' to do a decent job with widow. When figuring height remember, subtract the height of the resevoir, the height of the lights, usually about 1', and the distance the light must be from the plants, with cfl's that isn't much. If you still have 3 1/2' widow will do fine. Here's a few widows. VV
