Lightbulb 400w hps on battery backup?

It seems like every thunder or snow storm we lose power for 10 or 15 minutes. Is it possible to use a battery backup (like from a computer) to keep my light from flickering during a brown out or short power outage?

It would be cheaper to get one of them 15min delay timer things. They are made specifically for this reason, around 100 bucks

Oh I see, they work best at half load. Yeah, that's a little out of my range. I'll look into those switches.
