I was on a job site and happened to run into it while throwing some stuff in a dumpster. it measures 7'x4'x2'


what would you do with this if you had this?

lights?

I was thinking about splitting it into 3 rows all with T5s maybe LED . first row with t5 for fresh cuttings to root ( week 0-2). second row for first weeks of flower (week 3-4). third row with LED for week 5-6 of flower. then the lovely females get to go into a closet under a hps for the remainder of flower. this would be a perpetual grow.


any ideas?

don't know a thing about the led's or t5's. I would split it halfish and use cfl's on the bottom and hps on top/w a cooltube. But thats just me. I haven't grown in a very small place. 4x4x10 was the smallest. Not that I have huge grows I just nedd lots of room to move about. lol

makes sense. i have read that t5 don't use a lot of energy and can be used for whole grow. i also have a closet for the last part of flowering that i lined with panda film and pvc to fit in closet ( back of closet is under stairs).

I started with mh and hps then moved to cfl's. If and when I ever get this thing set up the way I want mh for veg, hps for flower and 4' flour's for sprouts and clones.

thats how i would like mine. but for some reason i really want to try the LED due to the fact that they use way less energy then mh or hps.

My bill for a grow is about 35.00-45.00 a month. If I spent the money on buying I would spend over 400.00 a month and up to $1200.00. Never had over 7 girls at any one time. I put out about 300.00 for the first indoor set up. I'm way ahead to grow my own.

Doing a whole grow with t5's isnt smart..your buds arnt gona be very dense at all. Id only use t5's for the seedling stage.

id put a ton of cfls or an hps and just start new babies in the window, or under a light outside the box cuz id want all that height. or put a small shelf with a floro tube for the babies
