new grow setup/room

herro all!!! =) im new to growing not smoking and new to this site but looking foward to it. followed is a few pics with a few questions. thank you

#1 pic is the grow area for the time being this is what my set up consists of some xmas wrapping paper (backside) for reflective material for time being untill i get some from high tech garden supply as well for time being i have a halogen45 flood about 4 or 5 ft above plant for a lil added heat untill i get heating pad. using miracle grow pre mixed organic soil with humus and also MG nutes. and i have a 4ft 2bulb lighting house in the corner which leads me to my question.

is this bulb a good temp bulb untill i go and buy a t5 GROW from high tech garden??? FLORA-GLO Fluorescent Bulbs by Hagen 40watt 10k hrs T-5 bulb says it promotes plant growth?? or i have another temp lighting plan buying two one warm and one cool white t 12 4ft bulbs from homedepot for 12 bucks??

If i am goin to be flowering is a philips 400watt clear high pressure sodium bulb good enough for the job??

on with the room!!!..... pic #2 is close up of the the bulbs im currently using. one is a 50/50 one white bulb, one atinic bulb, the other is just a reg cfl bulb. same as pic #4

pic number three is my baby close up(almost two weeks into growth) first time growing so didnt have a timer till this past weekend and forgot to turn the plants light system on for quite some time and hurt the plant and set back the growth of the plant, it has made a strong comeback though and has gotten two new leaves since then, and hoping that with the new 4ft bulbs the growth will begin to speed up a lil.=) for circulation of the air i have placed a osculating 2ft wide/tall fan like 5ft from plant on low=)

Please all and any questions, advice, and or suggestions are welcome and any help would be greatly appreciated well thanks for lookin if you did=) and will update once new bulbs are in place i plan on putting them in wed so if i can get some feedback tomorrow that would be great.!!

The lights you show there are good to veg.The shop lights will work also you really dont need much light for veg.But to answer your next question you will be able to flower with the 400 just fine.

i have 6 flouros goin ea pushin 40w 4 of them reg cool whites, one warm bulb, and one plant bulb give a kinda warm violet spectrum and 6cfls one 50/50 actinic and 5 reg 13w a total of 380 watts would it be good or bad?? and im definatley doin a 400w hps for flower but thats long to come i think if any comments would be greatly appreciated. can someone tell me how to create a journal or do i mark it like this as time goes on creating a long ass thread of the plants life??

this is 6 days after the first pics on thread much growth most was just from the two 4ft bulbs and as of saturday it now has six there is a significant amnt of heat which is why my plant is a lil gloomy totally forgot to open closet b4 work today and set fans blwing into the closet area with fresh ac air. so they were just blowing the hot air through the closet over and over NO BUENO (i know) it was like a lil over ninety lol but problem is now fixed im home, and catering to her(crossed fingers its a her)!! thanks for takin a look if ya did dont expect too many responds lmao im still a stranger =( lol peace yall! smoke one!

also another considered problem my freakin ph is at a mid 7 (NO BUENO) again hope (she!! hoping!!) is gonna last till this weekend work wierd sched so dont have time any small sugestions like a natural ph down mat??

this is just a few days a cpl maybe b 4 today was kinda pissed driving home today knowing i did that! but yea enjoy!! =)

You can start a journal by going to the grow journal section and creating new thread.how old is your plant now?

that actually leads to my next question! lol "shes" like 3 weeks old she she be alot bigger then that? ive know that sativa usually takes a lil longer to grow but damn! lol umm not sure any advice? i personally think that its too small for 3 ive seen people on here that say two weeks 4 or 5 times the size of mine. much appreciated thanks. peace till next time and smoke one!!=)

thats actually an opinion it really doesnt matter which cycle you use after much research it comes down to an opinion and ide rather not change what the plant is expecting from nature when will a plant get 24/7 light?? alaska? im letting nature take its course here like the sun would play on them. check out my journal though this is a very old thread i hardly pay attention to the setup is much better now lol well Welcome to RIU! happy grows!
