Hey guys, I'm really new to RIU, but I'm glad to be part of such a community.

I've been smoking for years now and have grown sick and tired of asshole dealers and shit, so decided to grow my own. The only problem is that I'm still in college and confined to a dorm room. This means that I can't be having a huge intricate set up because a) my roommate may not like it and the more important reason, b) dormrooms get inspected every few months to check for things like this hahaha. Getting caught growing gets you kicked off campus and, even worse, kills your plants.

In an attempt to at least get a free ounce or two for myself every few weeks, I've decided to use a PC Stealth Grow Case. I figure something like that lying around in a dorm room near a desk is acceptable, and will not draw any major concern.

For the strain, I'm considering an auto-flowering lowryders/AK47, mainly because they stay very small, as a PC Grow Case only gives two or so feet to grow in. Lowryders stay short, auto-flower, and are easy to grow.

The rest I candeal with; soil, watering, fertalizer, and tending to the plants. Even better is that since lowryders auto-flower, I can just keep them on 20/4 the whole time until harvest.

Do you think this idea will work? I could definetly LST the plants if you think they're going to grow too tall. And if you think this idea is destined to fail, any suggestions for stealthily growing in a dorm room?

Good idea but remember that you have to mask the smell and ak47 smells are very powerful. It will totally draw attention to that exact spot.

what's up with this? Have you started yet?

I wouldn't go with an auto strain for a grow like yours. auto AK isn't as short as you might think and it branches out quite a bit (meaning the lower branches wont get the light needed to develop tight buds). Auto strains are ok for a cabnient grows or outside, but in a p/c grow you want to do LST to keep the height down and maximize the yeild, maybe something like a scrog...? auto strains arent good when LST is used, you usally want to give them as much light as possible and let them grow.
I might be wrong so please butt in if you think other wise, but this what iv learned from my p/c grow, and 2 other stealth grows.
