so as i was out with my wife antiquing i came across a pile of lights " due to my training as a pot head" i recognized them as hids under closer inspection they are 250 watt mh now i am no idiot but my understanding is that lumens are what we are after and not so much wattage. also under the understanding that u get more lumens per watt by using several smaller wattage units guy had 6 of them and was only asking $15.00usd per unit all he stated worked the hitch is they are the attached ballast to reflector type think i can get away with vegging for a while on these how many you think for my 4X8X6 tent?

I do all of my growing and flowering with a single 400w mh. Works great fror me and I get huge buds.
