Default MH 400 Watt HELP

Ok so i just got my hands on two 400 Watt Metal Halide lights. The pic has all the stats.

My questions are that the lights has no plug so could i just add a correct size wire and plug at the end.

Also, the bulbs are HUGE i know theres a name for them but why is that so.

yes you can get a cord and plug and wire it up.
the bulb you want is a 400 watt metal halide mogule base m59 lamp.
