Light Buzz, Normal?
If you can hear a buzzing sound from the socket and bulb area in the reflector, is that normal?
I would assume a buzz in the ballast is normal, but wasn't expecting to get noise out of the bulb and socket.
Currently there is a MH bulb in the reflector.

you sure its from their? and not bouncing noise from the ballast? never heard of this, i run 400 halide no noise in the cab

Yeah, I'm sure. Its not extremely loud, but there is a Hum from it. Should I be concerned?

has it always done this? or just started? usually (hydro guy said) when the bulb is about to "quit" it will buzz
he said to try and re screw everything in to make sure its tight.....said there really is nothing to be concerned of....worst case buy a bulb

Brand new, definitely a buzz coming from the socket/bulb area.
It is from HTG.. I have heard they have some problems with bulbs.

mine buzzed for the first few weeks new out the box.
I dont think i notice it now.
maybe it still does. havent had any problems yet.

the consensus is that NO i dont think its supposed to do this, BUT i dont think you have a choice unless you can return it for a different bulb? if it ignites i would just run it till it fails.

HTG has told me that it may be the Ballast, they have not yet gave me a resolution, or if there is one needed.
