Has anyone setup an EBB and flow system for their grow?
I've grown in a reservoir setup that was really ghetto in college and want to do it right this time around.

Im thinking about growing 8-12 plants and want to get some advice on how to start. I have hps and MH lights ready to use, just need help with the initial setup.

Any information on how to build, or the best brands to stay informed on would be very helpful!!!

i dont have 600 bucks to throw at a set up!!
can anyone help with design ideas?

you can start by getting a 3x3 flood table, around $100, a 300gph submirsble pump ($40) a rubbermade 20 gallon tote, biuld some kind of stand for the flood tray to sit directly above the rubbermade, get two drains, one is for flood which is short and the other is a taller over flow drain, get a segment timer and flood the table 3-6 times a day for 15mins a cycle, check out jorge cervantes videos on youtube or ready set grow

thats the cheap way, you want the bucket system its gonna be more expensive to DIY, that system which i just got one, requires 2 pumps, a cap timer and other plumbing for the control bucket, its 600bucks cus the controller alone is worth $200 in products, buckets? are$5, plus you will need the bucket lid that inserts into the outer bucket which is about 10bucks each, do the math

3x3 28 gallon tote res, 2x4 fram 180 gph pump. Not perfect, but doable.

I do not currently have thermometer in the res, but it is sitting on the cbasement floor, wich helps keep it lower then the room. I am waiting on my fan now to seal the room and sex the plants. Right now with no fan othr than a box fan blowing on them the air temps are around 84. This is my first so I am still working on it.
