Ya it could work, although it looks like you would have a very small little plant
in there .Heat could be a problem also.Is that a waste basket you are looking to grow in?

is it possible to have a little plant produce buds? lol this setup may be way to small its actuall a heineken mini keg, i want to keep it in my dorm. its a mini keg, i cut the top so it can be taken on and off i want to put a light in the top a small fan inside, air vents for fresh air and of course a plant in the middle, i would water the plant by removing the top and watering it.... but is it even possible to have a plant this small still produce smokable bud?

You could get a very small plant to bud.Just grow it for a week maybe then switch the light to 12/12.One problem you might have is that you need TOTAL darkness during the dark time.The air vents may be a problem unless you put a baffle over them or something. Are you planning on keeping this thing in a closet or what?

yes most likely is there a way to build a small carbon filter to harness the smell or any way i could keep the smell in the container? and when you say grow it for a week you mean germinate the seed wait til it sprouts and that be the begining of the week?

If you're gonna be doing it that small, why not build it in a PC shell. like the ones they have on ebay for 600.00. im sure you could get an older PC for free if u looked hard enough. gut it and built your box. just a suggestion

For a PC shell, just find one for free or cheap at a flea market or something. It's a lot easier and better than spending 600 on one.

oooo, now that got the gears in my head turnin...

that is a great idea and i had been thinking about it for a while i will look into it a bit more but how hard is it to grow a "smaller" plant? does it take more than growing a regular size one?

Don't forget that you can also low stress train (lst) the plants too. It's not hard to do it, you just have to be patient.
