Default Sun Shield Reflector Heat Shield

I just picked up 2 Sun Shield Reflectors for my Yield Master II-6".
I put them on and the temp dropped 8 degrees. The room went lights out at 6pm so I won't really get good readings that I can compare to till tomorrow.
Has anyone else had any experience with them?

i have seen those in a few shops
they really work eh? thats rad

do they muffle some of the exhaust fan noise thru the hoods, too?

do they make those for sun systems super sun IIs i wonder....

Can't tell because of the fan noise in the room. My 2 16 in fans coulsd use some sound dampening. I am planning on putting them back in original boxes and stuff with sound deadening material

The shields REALLY do LOWER the temp in the gro tent.

The temperature has dropped about 15-20 degrees now that the tent has aclimitized. I have to say that they are a good investment. During the summer it looks like I won't have to run the window a/c unit as much.

yea they are cool.

however, they dont make one for my tent's reflector (i have a coolstar plus)

they should look into making some universal.

moreover, when i get my cab set back up i will order some for the yield master.

i've also been eyeballing hydro innovation's icebox to use in conjunction with the shield to really keep temps in check without worrying about a/c needs

are your lights 1k? 600? 400?

Was hoping to have more info to post but I have had a ballast go. The system was down 1 of the 2 lights. So it was much cooler today. lol. More hopefully i a couple of days .... if it's not one thing it's another

What kind of material is the heat shield made out of? Is it possible out make your own for the people with reflectors that isnt compatible? I have the easy 6 from HTG
