i changed my set up today and instead of just venting the hood i took one side off the hood and now im pulling through the hood and still exhasut it out the window but now im pulling air from inside the tent out too instead of just the hood! what you guys think?????????? what else do i need to make this a proper and legit setup to run good and cool??? thanx

You should move your inline fans outside the tent to limit heat creation inside the grow.

i only have one inline and its on top of my tent, not inside! but do you think i need more than one inline???? its been bugging be forever i need a inline to force air into the tent correct?? i have my inline sucking air out of the tent through the hood!

Hey buddy, ur gonna need another exhaust fan w/ a higher cfm rating for a stand alone cooling system for ur light since its a 1000W it produces massive heat. Hence ur gonna need 2 exhaust ports,1 for cooltube and 1 for grow area. ur temps r way too high for optimal growth and it looks like u got sum nutrient lockup goin on wit ur plants by the looks of ur pics,just my $.02

Ya i flushed them a couple days ago there starting to look better, but now a few leaves look deformed and weird shaped lol! um i have my inline fan attatched to my hood blowing it out my window! where else would i need a fan?????? bringing air into the room since my inline is sucking it out the room through the hood??? i just dont want to buy one if i dont need it, but no one has really told me yet! my temps are 85F w the light on from 10pm - 10am im flowering, thanks ill try looking into some more venting cuz i know i want more air and circulation of air in there but can seem to figure out wat to do, theres new pics on my journal, + rep to ya

Yes! Yes, now you got the right idea!
no need to have duct on the begining end of the intake air/ I just have a nylon on my inline fan(booster fan) and I clean it off once a week. Also make sure your exhausting the total volume of the grow room in under 5 minutes to ensure your crop gets proper ventilation.

well i have my inline fan sitting on top of my tent! theres ducting that runs from the hood up to the top of the tent and it connects to the inline and then on the other side of the inline is more ducting that goes to the wondow! what ducting are you saying i dont need???


So i should go get a booster fan and have it blow air into the tent from my bedroom??? im just a lil confused sorry!
