Default Mounting Lights and Heat issues- please advise :)

Hi I am trying to add more lights to my grow but having trouble figuring out a way to mount them AND my temps are 80+F with doors open on my cabinet.

how much watts are you using? you could swap the CFLs for a single HPS in a cool tube you would get more yeild for less watts used the plants could grow up and touch the cool tube without burning them if you use a 250w lamp.

if you stick with the CFLs then you will need more air extraction to get the hot air out.

about 159 watts in there right now.

here is what you can do with 1200w and cool tubes

the room is 4 feet high x 6 feet long x 3 feet wide 2 x 600w hps with in 9" of the tops the temps never got over 85f even in summer time. in the winter its was around 70f. ditch the CFL's

need a vent on top of cabinet or if u already got one make the fan blow air out of it

yep i have a fan in the upper left corner now- 65cfm and a passive intake in the bottom right.

look at my grow u might be able to add lights the was i did. air circulation will be better and the bulbs my cool better

I recommend to wire ballast separate from tubes and take them out of cabinet.
