Lightbulb New setup design - Aquaponics?

Hey guys,

Getting ready to set up my first grow... any suggestions? I was originally thinking DWC w/CFLs to get the hang of it... One of my hobbies is raising fresh water cichlids... doing a search for an algae eater, I thought about using my fish tank as the resevoir, but figured the nutes would kill my fish... then I thought organic nutes... but when I researched more... low and behold AQUAPONICS... Now I've been reading up on hydro and bubbleponics... but has anyone had success with aquaponics? And if not, please let me know. Thanks!
