nah - you want to push the air through the lights if your fan can handle it... that way if there is a leak, no smelly air will get sucked in.... clean air will get pushed out. savvy?

i think youll do fine w.o a heater, but insulate floors and run your lights at night

i hear this argument all of the time and it's just not true. as long as you're pulling air through the carbon filter you don't have to worry about leaks at the light. technically, you could, and some people do, just run air from: inside room-filter-fan-inside room, a completely closed loop.

true, but if you are venting to another room, you want low pressure only in the filter, and high pressure through the duct to the other room...

if you put the fan after the lights, or in the other room, it would be pulling air through the filter, but if any of the environment air got into the duct AFTER the filter, it will be unfiltered, and will be like a smell leak into the other room.

Two ballast, reflectors, hortilux bulbs AND the Can 33 Combo for 947$ compared to the other combo for $736.

Which do you think is the better route? Im leaning toward the more expesnive one consider the Hortilux bulbs make up the difference alone..

i'm buying 2 new 600w lumateks tomorrow. well new for me. my buddy has them. he used them for about 6 weeks. i get them for a fun ticket each.

i was using the hortilux i have switched to the GE 600w PSL. dude at the hydro store said it was "the best". i have not screwed them in yet. hopefully i will get my ballast tomorrow and have them and my new bulbs running tomorrow night.
