1 plant new year project

hey i want to build a small stealth grow cab , for like 1-2 plants which can be used over and over again.
ive have been lurking on the forums since spetember and have been making my own little plans in my head.

i know i am going to go cfl due to heat issue with a hps.
i will be using soil , simply coz its easy.

can any one give me some ideas or some info.

So what have you been doing since september? Memory dump maybe?

nah ive been restricted in space to a wardrobe

so i am going to be building a grow cabinet ( seen as im a carpenter)
24 inches in length
31.5 inches in height
12 inches in width

i will be using atleast 4-5 cfls, seen as i have salvaged a big fluero light from a display cab , and i think its in the blue end of the spectrum, cuz the light is like a daylight light and cuz half of it is painted blue lol.
so i will probs be gettin 2-3 2700k bulbs for flowering.

i think it will be enough light for 1-2 plants.

i will be adding a pc fan connected to a diy carbon filter for air extraction.

these are only noob plans so if you or any1 can elaborate on them i will be happy to listen.

come on people , does anyone have any info i could use.

J/K. Your idea looks pretty good. You might consider a stronger fan to go through your Carbon Filter. Have read that PC fans don't cut it, but thats just what I read. Maybe it would work with your set-up.

yeh i was worrying about that but i have 4 fans lying around varying in strength so i think its just a case of seeing which one that works best.

hey have any people got any input for my grow, before i go jumping head first into it all.?

the only issue i see off the bat is the height of your box. if you assume that the pot and lights will each take 7" then you only have 17" left for the plants. you can use lowryder strains but you'll get better results if you can add two feet to the box.

yeh ive had alot of issues with height but i was thinking of using lst. i was hoping i would be able to get better results with that.

Jump in and get it done. Thats the only way to see if it's going to work. I never saw a point to building such a small grow cab but I start flower when the girls get about two feet tall.

the thing is you don't have much horizontal space to lst two plants. you can make this work but you are not going to get much yield.

You will really need to lst the shit out of your plants. and you will need to start flowering almost right away, I'm about 3.5 weeks into my grow and my plants are too tall, and i have about 6 more weeks of flowering still.

yeh i knew i would have to lst, plus it increases the bud sites i think.

meh try it out bro you never know. as long as you got a decent of idea of what u want to accomplish and your not being ridiculous itll most likely be within reason. lowryder would be nice but u should be fine with just about any indica so do yourself a favor and go get a nice kush like hundu best of luck growing, that thumb will be green in no time

what about using one of those small plastic garden sheads?? there like a foot and 1/2 deep, "maybe a little more". 3 foot wide and 6 fot tall. you could put maybe 10 palnts. the way i look at is you want to grow enought to get you through the year, for personal use.

A few questions.....

What strain are you thinking of growing?
What soil are you going to use? Nutrients?
Etc

i have a real small hydro setup. i use one of those shoe boxes from walmart and air stone . i have been using this for a while . I'm on my RD grow in this cabinet. and yes you have to watch how tall they get or they will start to touch the top of the cabinet. I use BC grow nutes i got of the net but when i first started i used shultz liquid plant food worked fine. I think people put way too much thought into growing. plant the seeds and if their going to grow they will. thats all there is to it. I use cf l's 4 of them 2 65k day lights and 2 27k warm whites. and the timer i have been using now for 6 years. i like things that last. good luck stop talking start growing lol.
