hello well i happen to have a 6 in duct booster and i dont really want to invest in a inline fan my cubic feet of the room is 122 so the duct booster is supposed to be rated for 140cfm alone not boosting amount u guys think it will be strong enough to force the air through

i used this in the beginning. It worked, but i was unhappy with it and soon upgraded.

Are you puttng a filter on it?

yea i was going to go carbon filter ---duct booster----outside i dont have a problem upgrading in like 4-6 months but dont have any more funds so i know this is what im going to have to do i just wanted to know how well it would work or if id be able to leave it as a perminate solution thx for ur info

duct booster fans donttypically do well with carbon filters because they just dont have the torque to pull air thru the filter. and end up overheating and burning up.
and also not moving enough air to fully utilize the filter

k well thx for the input i guess i will use it simply as exhasust until i have the extra funds for a good inline fan

add a cheap ($10) computer fan to help move air into the booster fan which should benefit the filter. There really is no need to invest $100 in a squirrel fan if a simple fix will do it.
