i was just recently reading a thread about someone that had a white widow, which is what im growing(2). he was saying to put the 400w 12" above the plant. well a while back i used a 400w hps and put it 3ft above the plant. well they all shriveled up and almost died. well i killed them but, moving on.. anyways my 250w hps is in there at the moment, but i was contemplating on trying the 400w again, that maybe the plants died from nutrients, because i was feeding them too much. but basically my question for this thread is, at 3ft high above plants, with 2 White widow plants at only week 1 and half. should i put the 400w hps up there? and how close can i get a 400w hps to the plants without a cool tube or without any cooling system besides a fan?

chickenpoop was only put there to lure you in.... and it seemed to work.. muahaha
