Hi All,

I am trying to decide whether to get a cooltube with my 400hps for my new grow tent - 36"x20"x62".

Ballast, 55k lumen light spec enhanced light, and a regular v shaped reflector for 148 with ship or with a cooltube for 215 shipped. I am in a rather cool climate and I'm not positive that i will need the cooltube to keep temps in range. Even when summer rolls back around I have central AC to help. On the other hand if I do need it it will cost me more to get it later.

LEt meknow your thoughts. I'm getting a light tonight. Just not sure which reflector I want.

well , with the cooltube u need fans n shit , so thats really the difference.

Yea the fan is going to be 15-20 more $.

honestly, if u want to spend the extra money, u can never go wrong with a cooltube, its the best u can get for heat control in my opinion

i push the air throw with this 265 CFM McMillan Exhaust Blower - $48.95

I definitely would get the cool tube. Those tents heat up. Doesn't make much sense to try and use your central air to keep that tiny space cool.

You might also want to look closer at that eBay coupon. Mine was only good for 10% off up to $100.00.

Yea. If it increases my yield by both keeping it cooler as well as allowing the light to be closer to the tops then it was money well spent
