vertical vs. flood tables

with a 2 rooms 11x10. what would produce more?
square pots stacked in a staggered manor, 4 or 5 pots high by lets say 10 columns a row. 3 rows with lights hanging vertically between row 1 and 2 then a light between 2 and 3. with each pot having its own drip nozzle....... per room
or 2 4x8 flood tables SOG style. per room with 1kw hps to each table......per room
