hello all was on the boards a couple of weeks back and someone posted a diy carbon filter made from a car filter and i was wonder if any one could post a link since i searched and couldnt find it thanks alot

You could take a filter off of a short ram intake. It looks like a cone. Then take some crushed carbon, throw it in a stocking, stuff it into the cone, then slap it onto your blower.
Voila....a carbon scrubber made from a car filter.

thx thats kinda what i was thinking i was going to just pour it in the filter and then put a stocking over the opening where the fan was going to connect

You can buy a 4" can carbon filter factory made on Ebay for $50 + shipping. Says it will last 12 to 18 mo.

yea well my filter needs replaced so it will only cost me like 8 bucks for the carbon and thats it
