yea thanks for the link and i think your prob rite bout the sog pluse it'll give me exp with ebb&flow b4 i try it out on the bigger grow i was thinking of( did you read that post? wat do you think) i still think i should start off with the 3 plats since i'll b growing from seed only growing one plant at a time would take me 4eva to getta afemale to make a mother if i keep gettin males or sum lik that. then one i veged the 3 plants i'll take clones and flower the 3 and if i get a female use her clone to make a mother and then get the 3x3 ebb&flood and do the sog.

Yeah I read the link/thread. I wouldn't have linked you to it if I didn't know what was up.

I like the idea of DWC but you gotta keep the roots at 70*F or they'll get rot. If you wanna use a chiller you gotta recirculate, if you wanna recirculate there is always the possibility of flooding. If you don't recirculate you gotta manage multiple buckets and you have to be on it 24/7 depending on their size/stage of growth. It's far from hassle free.

If you want my opinion on starting seeds, do it in soil and pop as many as you can.

so what do i do after i pop all the seeds in soil? hw do i switch em to hydro after dat? why shouldnt i jus use rockwool? and can u tell me hw many plants you think i shoud try to get in2 the 3x3 system to get the lb evey other month? hw tall to veg them to so they'll be rite for sog? and what should i use to grow the small plants in in the ebb&flow tray? srry 4 al the ?'s jus tryin to get dis all dwn

Rockwool is good too. Easy to handwater.

Fill the tray up with hydroton or lava rock and drop your clones straight into it. Or if you use pots you can arange them so that the larger plants are on the outside and the smaller plants go directly under the light. Makes it easier to trim too. I grow in beds of hydroton.

As for veg time make sure each clone has a running start going into 12/12 dig? I give my girl about 3 days before I flip. My clones are tiny at about 2".... keep em short.

#s...... a lot of people go 1 plant every 6" but if your lady has huge leaves you might wanna spread her out a bit more. Try 36 in the tray (-1 for the fittings if you have to) and work from there. If you can go 1 plant every 4" that's 81 plants in a 3x3 so there is lots of room to play around.

so you switch to flowing with you clones as lil a 2''? dats kind small dnt u think i hear lik 6'' then flower is about rith for sog or im i misunderstanding you? or jus have bad n4?

what size should your plants be when flowering from clones if you wanted to get 4plants per sq ft? jus askin 4 the in4.

Come on man.... shit! They don't finish at 2". A 2" clone might finish at 3 foot just gotta see what kinda plant you're working with. Gotta figure the numbers out on your own, that's where experience with a plant factors in. Gotta pay attention and learn your plant.

dats still doesn't answer my ? you start to flower your plants as lil as 2''? and no you plants can grow 3x bigger when flowering but starting at 2'' they'd still end under a foot. and if you sog and cut off the lower 1/3 then you'd have even less.
