So I am building my first grow room and wanted to share what I am doing and hopefully get some advice and feedback along the way. (I will take pix along the way)

I am building two cabinet rooms.

The first is my Veg room and its dimensions are H:4ft W:2ft D:2ft.

The second is my Flower room and its dimensions are H:6ft W:4ft D:2ft.

I plan on using a cfl in the Veg box. I’ts a "GROWLUSH HYDROPONIC 100W ENERGY SAVER LAMP 6400K"

And for the Flower room I was thinking of using a 250 watt HPS High Output lamp. (I have a 400 watt HPS but think this might be a pain keeping the heat out).

I am not sure about what I will do for ventilation yet but was thinking of just using 120MM fans in each. But am not sure if this is enough for the Flower room?

Any way I have my first shots of the build. The Veg room is sitting in the Flower room just to save space but they will be side by side once I have finished making them.

How many plants are you planning on growing? If you are planting more than one, I would buy a 3-4 more CFL's to ensure a healthy plants before heading into Flowering.. Everything else sounds good. What strain are you going to grow?

For my first batch I am just using some seeds found in some good weed. Bush Bud. Once I have had a test run and everything seems to be working I will buy some good seed.

I have the same setup other than size and light .Mine is 5ft:H 4ft:W 4ftD and 2 6500k clf's if i was you i would only put one plant in it. My plant is in need of being moved to a bigger room. For the air flow i have 2 120mm fans in it as well one at top left corner and bottom side for air flow
the pic's 1 is at 2 weeks and pic 2 is at 5 weeks i had to top it and clip off some of the folage to get light to the lower end of the plant .Also i have took 12 cliping's off this plant as well for cloning as u can tell in the pics this plat is from a seed from a bag of good bud

Looks good killers. Thanks for the share and some ideas. I have just put the door on my smaller Veg room and am just about to start painting it. (I am no carpenter and this took me much longer than I expected and was a bit bodgie job. I’m not looking forward to hanging the big ones).

Ok so I have made some small progress on the Veg room. The door is now on and I have finished painting it. Now I just need to put in air vents, fans and my 100 watt CFL light. I also plan on adding some more side CFL's in the near future.

One quick question. Is there any need to add a carbon filter to the Veg box or just the Flower box?

Well from what i know and what i did i just put a carbon filter on my flower box but the veg box can get li'l smell right before it is time to flower so it is all preference

I installed my new 130 watt CFL and have taken my plant from outside and it is now in the box.

I still need to add the following to my Veg box.

2 x 75 watt CFL's for side lighting
1 x 125mm fan
1 x 6" x 6" air vent screen
