Here are some pictures of it, The white paper is there for reflectors and I am using two 100W CFL's. I am using this just for vegging.....

cardboard is not a fire hazzard when using CFLs, ive had a few goes with it.

I wouldn't use cardboard for a few reasons..

1. It is potentially a fire hazard.
2. Get it wet accidentally and it'll just start sagging and easy to tear.


But i guess everyone works with what they have.

Could you not get a rubber maid container?
or even a small wooden box?

There's also a factor of tearing the box by accident.
I mean, what are you going to do for ventilation?
you'll find it hard mounting some small pc fans to the box.

Just some ideas.

Guys these are 100W CFL's, Not a HPS, How would they cause a fire hazard? I mean the lights are not touching the cardboard.
