Hope this is the right place for this...

I have a 600w digital ballast. I've been running it fine w/out incident for the past 6 months. Today I checked inside my tent and the light was off. When I checked the ballast, it was super hot to the touch and the fan wasn't working.

I assume the fan went out and the ballast over heated and shut off. I took the fan out and removed the top of the ballast to run it w/another fan on it. The bulb won't fire, neither will my backup so I know the problem isn't the bulb.

My question is...does anyone know what would go out first on the ballast after the fan stops working? I would like to fix this...

Also, when I plug it back in I can hear the ballast clicking, but the bulb isn't firing...fwiw...
