Okay, i really need your guys/girls help.
im growing an indoor plant maybe 2 i already have my grow room.

Do you guys think a 300 watt 120v 60hz light bulb would work?
it looks like this



Its VERY BRIGHT.

no no no, its a halogen light cant grow with it, they get very very hot

I wouldn't use it as it gets extremely hot. You would be better off picking up a few CFLs as opposed to using that.

just go get some floros .. although i'd suggest dropping the 150 bucks to buy it online... try ebay or hidhut.

probably one of the worst lights versus efficiency, you will waste tons of energy creating heat instead of good light.

Walmart sells true 26 watt (100 watt equivolents) 6500K CFL's for 8 bucks a 2 pack. 4 of those around a plant would do you much better for 16 bucks. Add a light strip or some other contraption and you can be in business.

ARE you guys sure, iv had this light on for about 2 hour and i can only feel heat if i stick my hand about 3 inches from it and its still not much heat at all

ok, i guess lol but it seems like this light would be so good, u cant even look at it without being blinded thats why i thought it would be so good, its bright as the sun!
