Hey Everyone,
I just recieved my AeroGarden Pro200. My seeds should arrive any time, I hope atleast! We all know how that is, but either way I wanted to get this journal started. I have done tons of research about the AeroGarden Pro200 on this website and its the right device for me. I will only be growing 2 plants at a time. Prolly in the front far left, and far right spots. They will be 1 Feminized Violator Kush, and 1 Feminized White Widow. I'm sure I will be needing tons of help along the way, just to worn all in advance. As of right now my AeroGarden Pro200 came with a free seed kit. Its the Mixed Herbs Kit. I plan on removing those seeds and placing mine within. I also plan on using the Nutrients that the Mixed Herb Kit provided. Does anyone have any "Day Before" advice on my grow? Anything would be helpful!

Are the Mixed Herb Nutrients that came with it ok to use? I heard I should only use half of the tablet?? I'm only growing 2 plants so is that to much or not enuff??? Do I Just use strait water for the first 2 weeks????

I bought the original aerogarden and grew some lowryder 2's in it, they came out beautifully. the tabs are o.k to use full strength for vegg growth just be sure to use the 2 that are marked for starting first two weeks though, u'll need a better bloom nutrient when put on a 12/12 or if like me growing the auto's switch to bloom nutes at the end of the third week.
Are you getting a seed kit with the garden? if so just peel of the top of each seed pot remove the sponge take seeds out put ur seeds in and put sponge back in net pot then follow their growing instructions until ur ready to bud, also keep your program on the "herb/basil" setting so the pump runs 24hrs. Also another flaw of the aerogarden is that i cant set the light timer for the times i need ie: 20/4, 18/6, 12/12. so i physically unplug the lights and keep the time my self, does the aero pro offer that? I customized my machine to include a wrap around skirt with reflective mylar on the inside and two 42w 6500k 2800lmn bulbs that can be replaced with 42w 2700k for blooming, and added an air line with stone to the resivoir. you'll also need some type of Ph tester the liquid drops work fine and are cheap at any on-line hydro store, keep your res water at 5.3 to 5.9 your goal being 5.5 check it once a day and make adjustment if nec.

Thanks Alot man for your reply. Yes I'm getting a seed kit. Its the Mixed Herbs Kit. I know the Pro200 has a 24/0 setting so thats great! I've heard the Tomatoe setting is 18/6 but ,, about 12/12 I dont know? All the setting are in terms like "Tomatoe", "Herbs", "Peppers". I'm thinking about e-mailing customer service and asking the actual times of each light/vegetable cycle? What do you think?? I've got the Safety Blanket from Wal-Mart that everyone talks about for my reflection. I also have an Air Stone hooked up so thats all good to!

sounds like a cool lil set up .... ive got a aeroponic propegator for my clones ... and u totaly notice the difference from soil in the root development.... im intrested in seein wot a full cycle in aeroponics will turn out like ...

The book i got with mine has a chart that shows the light and pump cycle for each setting, check your book for the info. i'm starting my 2nd grow of lowberry's as soon as the seeds come. I will start a journal for them here.

Damn... Seeds didnt come in today. Hopefully tomorrow! I ordered from www.cannabis-seeds-bank.co.uk has anyone ever ordered from there to the US and got there seeds? either way, I'm hella ready to start this Journal!

Just go my seeds in yesterday. Came with a nice little surprise to, 5 free Power Skunk Seeds. I planted my Fem. Violator Kush and Fem. White Widow in the front far left and far right AeroGarden slots. The back 4 slots and the front center slot are all Power Skunk. I know there is to many in there right now but the Power Skunks arnt Feminized so ill be weeding out the males when the time comes and make way for all the lovly ladies.

I'll try to post pictures today somtime. Even though there's not much to see right now other than the set-up.

I can see the seeds already starting to germinate. Right now I have the lights set on 24/0. Is that ok, or should I change it to somthing else? Also once they sprout how many weeks should I wait until I go 12/12?

yeah 24/0 is fine but when they sprout put it on 18/6 if you have a timer or leaving it on 24/0 is fine too. man - its your call. whatever size the plant is you get to choose when to flower it. usually you would wait 4 weeks but it depends on the strain. Good luck and i too am using the aerogarden pro 200. get an airstone and watch out for mold COVER YOUR HOLES!!! definitely recommended too, to get a couple of 45 watt cfl's-they improve growth soooo much. AND LOSE THE AEROGARDEN NUTES. GET FOX FARM!!!!
