Sometimes getting into a new type of growing just goes this way the first time, but the experience leads to future sucess. I think it was my 4th outdoor grow attemp before I finally had a sucessful harvest with some bag seed. Then with my next two attempts, I wasted two different orders of high dollar seedbank strains due to my mistakes. Finally, my last outdoor grow was a sucess, but it was with bagseed again.
My current indoor grow is my most costly attempt to date and I seem to be on the right track, but I realize that I now have quite a bit of experience from my past grows where I was not always doing things correctly. I know how to grow in soil or soiless mediums now, but I do not think I would do so well with hydo until I had a few hydro grows under my belt.
I guess I am trying to say that if you just keep trying and working on it, you will eventually realize sucess. With RIU, I think the experience and success can now come much faster because of the huge collective wealth of knowledge that it can provide. You are doing the wise thing by seeking advise from a lot of different growers. Perhaps just a heartier strain on your next grow would make a difference.
