Did you germinate the seeds in anything first or just put them in the soil?

Hmm supp dude looks like you're off to a good start, tasty lowrider! Can I make one suggestion? youre 5 CFL's do not add their lumens together, they just spread it out more so you have roughly 100watts of heat being generated in your space. So with that being said, Home Depot has whats called a fluorescent canopy light. With some minor dissasembling you can have a 8500 lumen or 10k lumen floro in the 6500k range which is actually working beautifully for my girls, even in the veg state. Give it a try and you wont be dissappointed

Do the outside tempratures affect you much? It was hot all day here and I couldn't get it below 80. It's still almost that now almost 1am.

I don't think it effects them that much can't seem to get my temps any lower than 80 even though i have 3 fans running now, is 80 ok for temp or a bit high? I thought it was maybe a bit high due to the fact that my soil always seems dry. I dunno though, opinions anyone?

Well if the soil always seems dry you just have to stay on top of the watering/ 80 really isnt all that bad. Of course you could always just use frozen bottles and rotate them around, but it's a hasslehoff...hahaha just made a joke

Mid 80's is okay for lowryder, but 70's would be better. Sorry to hear about your germination issues. Perhaps your upper layers of soil are drying out too fast and killing the germinated seeds. I have had great success placing the germinated seeds in jiffy pellets in a tray covered with clear plastic. Comes in a kit at Home Depot. Kind of like a mini greenhouse that keeps them moist. I plunk the jiffy pellet into soil when the roots start to show and they take off every time!! The kit was $4.00 and would hold 16 pellets. check the link.
