Skunk#1/Haze and Northern Lights/White Widow Closet Grow

Been vegging my skunk/haze plant for about 2 1/2 weeks now. The northern/widow plant just under 1.5 weeks. It's amazing how different the strains look. Just built a better light system for my plants over the weekend.

Consists of 6 27W CFLs (3 cool white, 3 day light) as well as 4 LED panels. Each panel has 900 LEDs with 2/3rds or so red, the rest blue. Been using Botanicare Pure Blend pro at half concentration in my res.

Built the box out of hi-core white coroplast. And using standard air stone and air pump from petsmart to feed them some oxygen.

EDIT: Last two pics are old. I've gone ahead and cut off the wilted part. I'm pretty sure it's due to the lights being too close.

if you're lights are as far away as they are in that picture, they are much too far. you are getting nothing from those CFLs at that distance.

I like the setup....my advice is to get a bigger fan and lower them lights as close as you can....it's lookin real good my friend!

Hey nizer, I am curious how much did you spend on those four LED light panels?

Bought them on ebay. I spent round 25 bucks a panel plus shipping.

oh yeah, besides that the plants look good. i often leave that part out.

lol thanks. I moved the lights up cause it was causing some wilting. Once I get a bigger fan, I'll move them back down.

For the money you spent on all your lights you could have gotten a 150 watt switchable ballast. Just saying but it looks good the way you have it.

I agree...I got my 150 watt hps for like 90 bucks and my 600 watt hps with a vent hood and 6" extractor fan..oh yaeh also an extra hortilux bulb for 135 dollars....just gotta shop around
