You going to run the halide and Hortilux together? I would. I have a 400w HPS with three ladies under it but am thinking of adding a 400w MH into the mix, I know HPS has the main spectrum needed for flowering but it's better to have both.

You know I was just planning to use the MH for Veg. I havent heard of any growers using both spectrums during flower. Is that optimal for bud growth? Growers??? LEt me get your 2 cents. If so, I would probably do both. I'm going for potency not yield here so I'll do what is needed.

Yes both can be used,,, yur just putting more light down field, also heat is anothier factor to think about... The temps will rise more with the mh than the hps...both running is, well that much more heat!!! If that can be controlled than hell do it... Earl' and the space shuttle, had both on his... That makes sense about it being a monster, I think the MH encourages it to grow more than the HPS which is mostly to encourage flowering, so I would guess that you will get more growth which should mean more flowering.

I don't know how much difference it makes to the yield or potency but you will certainly get tighter buds which is always a good thing and will improve your net weight. not sure that tighter buds imrpove the strength, that is usually more down to genetics but if tighter buds means more trics per square inch then it's possible.

DAY 25 UPDATE

Girls are looking good. Buds arent as big as I would have hoped @ this point but sticky like a mofo. I'm hoping these next few weeks they will start to boom.
