Kool, Thank's...wouldnt 11,000 lumen's be able to produce atleast 1 ounce. 11,000 lumens + 1 plant = "?Yeild amount?" and how many lumens would u use for 8 plant's to b able to get a good yeild FYI ( Im talking all CFL lumens here )

For one Like anyone would want the much heat. and for 2 no ballast haha, 3 saves more money. 4 i can get more lumens then ur hps or MH 150w from 6 Cfl's do the math beleave me from 6 of CFL's get 16.800lumens 150w hps get only 16.000 so ur killin yourself on ur bill and the heat everytime u turn ur Hps/MH on ill stick with cfl bro but no harsh feelings thanks for ur input, Anyone else?????? answer to the first question on the page?????????????????????????????????????????????? ???????

The fist post about 11,000 lumens would grow good.

But remember lumen are a measure of area so to add them you have to square the lumens of each bulb. then add them up. last take the square root of the sum that is your out put if all of them are in the same 1 foot square.

Here is an example 6 cfl's at 1750 lumens ea

sq rt(1750^2*6) = 4287 lumes

Still good for a small grow with heat issues

if someone was to use 16,800 lumens In about a 2' wide box basicly with no top so the light can b raised up and down as needed wouldnt that produce a good yeild?

ok sorry i have not updated in a while, i was going to with some pictures and my camera was dead, and i dont have any batteries so ill just do a text update which is sad

so i HAD 3 growin in my AG the one on the left started showing me its nuts on monday, so i cut that fucker down, then the next day the one in the center started showin me his fuckin ball sacks so i cut that bitch down, now im left with the one on the left, which is a mutant with a couple tri nodes, and im just hopin that shes a she, and im think she is, so wish me luck.
ill try to get some batteries tomorrow, and get some pics up
i know the ones that are following my journal would like to see how its going so ill try and give you that

ok heres a updated with some pics, not much to see i think my last plant is taking a bad turn and starting to show some nuts as well as the other 2 and the 2 before this batch, WTF thats 5 of 5 males
i am waitin on getting a couple cones from a buddie and if i get those then ill make my mother plant and just take clones from that
