what does it mean when i dont water 4 a while and notice my surface perlite is brownish nasty , is this normal or something bad ?

i be smokin on some triple AAA and mexican swag

Yeh, they should be showing sex by now. At least the males. Don't worry though, Lowryders start really slow then they seem to explode toward the end. If you got your ventilation fixed you should see them hit puberty any day now.

i seriously doubt i will be seeing sexing soon, i know time wise i should but they are itty bitty

, i dont know what happen (except for the temp issue ) i'll get pics up later and you will see what i'm talkin about

i really do want sexing though (on the plants)

what kind of lighting are you using, what is the out put of Lumens you may not have enough light.

We need to see some pics to help you. It could be light, heat or watering issue at this point. I have 10 going right now that are 2 weeks old and they will show sex within a week. The growth has been astoundiing for Lowryder. It typically starts slow, but you may have some issues and we can help if we can see what's going on.

Hey guyz sorry for not updating ,( i got real depressed when i kept getting the temps at 90 - 100 and they just wouldn't grow)

but now one is thriving and i think i can save him, but i am takng him away from his original AG light and have the choice of moving him to a 8w Cool White floroscent tube or a 120V 60Hz 23W CFL bulb. he is tiny and not big yet

I need to see a pic of your setup. Something is seriously wrong if you plants are tiny at this point. My Lowryders 25 days and they have declared sex and are gowing strong at about 6 inches and some seriously dense node distribution and budding. I'm sure we can help if you give some detail as to your conditions i.e. lighting, temps , ventilation, light cycle............

yeah the camera was destroyed in a fit of rage ( from plants not pregressing) but i will post some here later when the GF gets home from work

but which of those lights is better for my little 2" guy , right now im using both

(yeah i seriously think my problem was that i didn't wait for my plant to establish a root system beore i moved them to their big final pots, i couldnt tell thiugh because i had them in this seed tray and i couldnt tell how far root growth had gone

i got 3 LRs that i am puttin in today though - they just finish germinating this morning

2 in the AG and 1 in some soil
it seems that i was better growing hydroponically ,hence my previous 6 ft plant. and this will be my last attempt at a soil grow with the last of the LR seeds i have

I have 6 lowryders that are about the same age if those are the original plants of this thread. Mine are about 6 inches tall with extensive bud development and tight intranodal growth. You are doing something wrong. We can only help you if you give us details about your grow - Pot size, Soil, Nutes, Lights, Temps . Maybe we can help. Your plants need help
