Setup is as follows:
4 - 42w CFL's (more to come soon)
1 - semi-used second bedroom closet (limited space)
1 - 1 gallon to be transferred to 3 gallon at best determined time
1 - 3 gallon

All soil is 1/2 MG 1/2 Store brand with roughly 15% Perilite added for aeration.

All lighting is on a string raise/lower capable fixture made following SeeMoreBuds' "marijuana BUDS for less". (Great book for beginners can be found at Barnes & Nobles.

Running 24/0 light cycle on both plants for now.


OK. Lets begin...

I am getting started on this journal a little late since I recently found this wonderful website. I have 2 plants going right now and this will be my first grow.. I have grown mushies before but thats for another forum!

One is 21 days old (currently in 3 gallon pot, 3 CFL's to this one) and the other 10 days (in 1 gallon pot with 1 CFL for now).

They are just getting over some overwatering issues that were faced a couple days ago. (Days 15-17, Overwater Recovery, No water given)

There was some curling and very heavy foliage. To help correct this, some support in the form of chopped up straws was used.

A few of the lower, first node branches were trimmed from plant 1 since they were getting too long and not receiving very much light due to my lame ass not filling the pot completely. I will use these clippings for a morning tea, tomorrow. =]

I will keep updates rolling as my children keep growing! Any suggestions, questions and/or comments would be appreciated, since this is my first time and there is so much to learn..

Here are a couple pictures of plant 2, which is a few weeks behind plant 1.

She is standing slightly short for her age, after overwatering she is recovering nicely and growth is noticeable by the hour!!

I stuck my finger in the soil to see if its time to water again. I'm thinking it's time to give the ladies (*crosses fingers*) a drink =]

Watered with one 1/2 liter of 6.5pH tap water left out for 48 hours to Plant 1. *edit*_Bad Idea. I should have waited a couple more days. The drooping continues so I will stop watering for 1 week or until some improvement shows.

I will start feeding with Vigoro 24-8-16 All Purpose Plant Food with next watering.


Plant 2 was watered with 1 cup of natural tap at 7.0pH. no nutes.

I took the stilts off of 2 of the branches on Plant 1. They are holding fairly well.

She is still droopy!

Plant 2 is coming along now... Starting 3rd node today.

Everything is going good with Foo Foo.. she is getting SO big! haha

Some issues with Suzy Q (Plant 1). She is still droopy as FUCK. I just noticed this morning that she is developing preflowers. It looks like she will be a boy . I'll give her a couple days for pistils to show... It really looks like she's growing some balls though.

how long as plant 1 been droppn?plant 2 looks irie...as ii would say...it seems like it wants to jus lay down...lol

Plant 2 is starting veg mode. Lookin good.

Plant 1 is definately a male. I'm bummed, but i'll see what I can get off of him. He is still a handsome plant =]
- He has started 12/12 cycle on the lights and stands a healty 6" tall, 16" wide.
