| | Well iv been using superthrive since i was germinating them and i cant say it hurt them at all, cus the conditions arent optimal(the temps are pretty high) but they seem very healthy so maybe it had somthing to do with it. |

| | How close are those getting to the lights? Are you able to prop them up close so they dont stretch? |

| | Theyre about 10in. from the lights cause i cant get them any closer, but soon theyll grow and get closer to them, they stretched a little bit when they came out from the jiffi cups but i planted them in the white 4oz cups a little bit deep so that most of the stretched stem was under the soil. |

| | Update: 5/09/08 Well, plants are looking GREAT! They all look very healthy but im really worried about the situation, i probably wont be able to see them for about 9 days do to family coming over. I gave them a huge watering, plus i filled the styrofoam tray with water so they can pick it up through the hole at the bottom of the cups. I also refilled the c02 bottle with water up to half the bottle and added 1 TBLS of yeast and 1 TBLS of sugar frutcoaste(somthin like that). The max temp is around 96 but only for a few hours, but im also worried that i wont be able to put in frozen bottles for the 9 days , and the temp for the next few days is around 88-90 . Anyways... take a look, most of them are starting to shoot leaves everywhere Note: Plant F is just as old as plants C,D,E but look like its a bit of a slow developer although when i planted it it was already all the way out of the seed and about 1.5in. long. |

| | i dont think lettin them sit in the water like that is a good idea....marijuana plants are really good to adapting to dry spells...they dont really like thier roots being wet all the time....so i suggest you just water them before your family gets there and let them chill for a bit...and water whenever you can |

| | Cannaboy: o dam, i already did as you see in the pics, cant really go bak now, but with the heat and the lights it should dry up in a few days. Also, i thought that they like theyr roots in water like in a hydro system? |

| | Yeah I wouldnt have let them in the water. I guess with the hot temps it will evaporate faster. I have left mine and they survived after a dry spell. |

| | moving to bigger pots will help if you had time, the more soil the more water that is held and it looks like they are gonna need it soon anyways GL | | Tags: bagseed, cfl, cfls, first, first grow, gallon, grow, pics, rubbermaid, totes, tubs | | Tags | 18gallon, bagseed, cfl, cfls, cflspics, first, first grow, gallon, grow, pics, rubbermaid, rubbermaids, soil, totes, tubs | | Thread Tools | | | | Display Modes | Linear Mode |
