My first grow with bag seed - Page 12

Well this fuckin sucks, found a seed on my big plant

, after looking over her thoroughly only a few of them in the lower popcorn buds, none in the top colas, not sure what to do at his point, I guess the damage is already done might as well just let her finish out, was thinking of harvesting her in two more weeks, that would be 64 days in, trichs are milky with some amber, any thoughts???

Id be taking her down if the trichomes are turning amber m8. I dont think one seed is anything to panic about but from what you say the plant is ready. You really dont want to leave it to fully turn to seed as it may well do if left long enough.

Any ideas how this happened? My brother found a seed in some skunk that a mate had grown. It was very pale but i threw it in soil. Nothing has happened yet. Its strange and I never mentioned it to the producer. I should run it by him and see if he had anyone else find seeds and what happened to him. Maybe one bud hermied!

I would try to raise your temps up a few degrees and decrease your humidity a few degrees if possible in your drying room.

Idk why it produced seed, can you snap a photo of it? And you could harvest, might be early, but will give you a more uplifting high- which is what i like from some sativa's anyway.

Hey doc, cant figure out how this happened but as they say on here dont fuck with bagseed, guess thats what I get, wanna order seeds for my next grow just dont know what strain, so many choices!!!! I think Im gonna let her go for another week, I mean the hairs are still mostly white!! Maybe 20% red I know you shouldnt go by that, Its all about the trichs but damn I thought the hairs would be turning red by now, yeah find out if you can about why his plant had some seeds in his grow and get back to me, thnks bro

Hey OB what did you think about that link???maybe thats why she hermied alittle?? did wind up changing back to 12/12 gradually, yeah have to keep my temps in the 70's cause of my grow box(sits under a vent) and dont have a dehumidifier, are you thinking mold will be a problem?? or it just might take alittle longer to dry?? Im gonna let it go for another week and chop her, I want that up high as well but pretty sure mine are indica's here are a cpl pics of the seeds what do you think I should do???

Idk, your stuck with the seeds- and idk why they sprung, usually its high heat... the high humidity idk, i dont have that problem, curious really...

The buds look good otherwise, those are all kinks that can be worked out second grow.

Hi KM, you mentioned that your about 20% red hairs. My big bud was ready and there only appeared to be about 20% orange hairs. The triks were begining to turn amber so I went for it. Im thinking every strain is different as far as this goes. Its murder when you dont know what the hell you have, lol.

Harvested my other mystery plant down last night. Dont know if its durban poison, master kush or what the hell. It smells earthy as hell but the sample bud which i quick dried, although a little bit rough, certainly hit the spot.

Its hard for me to see from these pics but are you sure its not swelling calyx's that you are seeing?

thats what i was wondering, and it happens a lot, it could just be a swollen calyx, one way to tell is carefully snip it off from the bottom, without opening it- incase it is pollen riddled, and taking it far from grow area and cutting it open and if its loaded with hairs and crystals its just a calyx loading with crystals, cuz it couldnt find seed to make inside. Thats sinsimilliea and that what you want! Could be, i actually am leaning towards it is, which would be great news!
