Had a nice visit from the mailman at the beginning of the month, this is my current OD run. I have never done this before either, so its a wonderful opportunity for me, I love these plants!

Hazeman
double white cheese x12 (down to 6, 2 runts)
Black Russian x2
Black Cheese x2
Molakko Kush x2

Afghani/Hindu Kush x11
Wild Thailand Kush x10 (barely pictured I was kind high and forgot to rearrange stuff so you could see it)

Dina Fem
Critical Cheese (auto) x1
White Widow x1
DinaChem x1

Also a few bag seeds. Germinating I have 11 Snowcap (indoor bagseed from what I can tell, still looks like the pics of snowcap I found online, so, here's hoping...)

Everyone germinated on the first, so it is really easy for me to figure out how old they are thank God! lol I know I'm not gonna do as well OD as I would if I had started a few months earlier, but there were several snags I hit, however, I now have the real deal...

About an acre of unadulterated land next to a giant farm in the middle of nowhere. The nutrient runoff from the farm (cornfield) has resulted in some of the biggest blackberry trees, honeysuckle and other wild vegetation that I think some ladies will do quite nicely. Stealth is always a huge factor, so I have the start of a 20x8 building (gonna put some siding on and make the outside look like a barn, indoors it will be climate controlled, solar operated and plenty of lights) I'm thinking about not putting a floor into the building so I can utilize this dirt. I dug 3.5 foot post holes for the foundation of this building AND the dirt didn't change color at all. dark brown black very loam and health health soil. Since my grow is located by a fully stocked pond, I am using that water (fish emulsion, random other wildlife in it, should be very very health for my plants)

So, here's a few pics, not everyone, just what I up-potted a few days ago, everyone is at day 20.

WW on the left, 2x moloko kush on the right
moloko kush.jpg

Auto Critical Cheese, should be showing sex by now, I will have a good pic next time, my first autoflower! great smell!!
auto critical cheese.jpg

Blue thai. She is so sexy, I had to take 2 pics lol, great smell to her
blue thai side.jpgblue thai.jpg

and this one is just for kicks, I don't have it anymore, the damn thing died, but... this plant in the pic is a twin! TWO plants from the same seed, and BOTH had that weird 3 lobbed thing going on. I really really really really wish they had survived, but they were both stunted, and sadly *sniff* they died
RSCN4496.jpg

So... did I mention that I'm kinda new at this? If anyone has any good strain information for what I am running right now pleeeeeeeeease, share with me!! I'd like to know stuff like how easy they are to clone, how loud the smell will be, nutritional requirements (heavy, light?) Strain origins, what kind of weather they like (hot? cool? dry? wet?) stuff like that. I have one more seed order on the way, 50 auto pounder, I need to make room for :D But this is what I am working with today. Thanks for stopping by, and any words of wisdom are appreciated

OK, my camera died on me, and It might be gone for good!! had it with me these last 3 days at the farm, took dozens of pics, and now when I turn it on, it goes to a "lens error" screen, but it works for like .0002 seconds, so there is still a chance!!!

Here's a rundown:

-------------------------------------------------------------------
3 AHK females, totally showing hairs, and looking pretty good, there isn't much in the way of branches at all though.
1 AHK that may or may not be hermaphrodite. it has one little ball thing, but it has a lot of pistils as well.
1 AHK that im not sure, it has 2-3 balls, but not the dozens that sprouted on the other males. It may or may not have a few pistils, I can't really tell if they're pistils or leaves.
3 AHK males they got a lot of balls showing, definitely male.

The males are in 1 gallon pots, the females are straight in the ground. the soil used was slightly dry, 6 pH
---------------------------------------------------------
8 WTK all still growing very well. 3 of them have branches started, a couple have branches that are about an inch or so long nice kushy smell to them

2 Black Russian: Definately 2 phenotypes here I would think, one of them is about an inch and a half taller, and has some tiny leaves that are just starting to branch from the node, the other one is shorter, and has practically nothing besides the main leaves growing from the stalk

Black Cheese: this one is runty, and hasn't looked like its growing any, but the leaves are still green and healthy looking

These are all in 5 gal. pots with dirt that came from the irrigation ditch we originally dug. The soil is very moist, 6 pH
------------------------------------------------------------
had a little newb accident with these, we will call it LST though! (dropped a tarp over them grrrrr, hope they grow outta it, they have already straightened their spine, they are a little twisty still, but growing healthily aside from being twisty)

CC looks good, pistils still popping up, smell is slightly stronger than the rest, and at night it gets a bit stronger, its about 10 inches, this one or a couple of the WTK are my tallest, but this one is definitely the stoutest. good branches

Blue Thai About 7-8 inches, starting to branch out a bit, very sweet smell like chocolate blueberry or something, I can definitely sense the origins

Malakki Kush X2 about 5-7 inches, one of them is definitely taller, one has the start of branches, the other not quite so much

White Widow about the same as the Malakki, but a little taller

These are in: 4 gal (ACC) 3 Gal (everything else) potted with potting soil and dirt from the same spot, slightly dryer dirt, 6 pH.
------------------------------------------------------------------------------
8 DWC These are all straight into the ground like the AHK. There are a few differences, I have 3 that are about 7-8 inches, one of them smaller than the other two. Two of them are really small (the littlest one is about 4 inches) but they are all growing at the same rate! and the last one is kinda average (6ish inches)

anyone with any words of wisdom for me, please feel free to comment, or even just a "good job" (it will make me feel better, and I'm really really new at this)

One last thing, I got another order in, can anyone point me in the right direction for grow tips for these girls?

If your computer has a memory card slot like your camera, you should be able to get the pics using that.

LOL I mean to take new pics!! I took about 5 pics and then it died on me, I musta been super stoned when I thought it was dozens, cause it most definitely was 5, and they are too blurry. How do I take pics of small stuff like pistils?

came in the mail today! thats 1 autoflower in the garden, 37 more to join her. Really hoping they put on a good show for me.

So here's a little update, and I got bugs! Not all my plants have bugs though, wild Thailand seems pretty resilient, but the Double White Cheese is untouchable!

2 reggie: no lst yet, they are big enough. they came from the same bag, however the leaves are different, one has them pointing forward and fat in the middle, the other sticks out to the side and is a little thinner and longer, but not by much.

All these I LSD last night at 8, and I checked them at 9, in a little over 12 hours they stood right back up like nothing happened!
Blue Thai: Branches are migrating to the sunnier side, kind of an earthy/chocolatey blueberry smell, light yellowing on the bottom leaves, some have little spots on the bottoms

Molokai: stood right back up, inner leaves are getting fat, had to tie down another branch or two :)

White widow: branches moving towards the sun, getting a fat stem.

ACC: didn't even get fased by the tie down, shot up a couple inches, tied down multiple leaves this morning. no insect damage, or anything bad.

8 DWC: tied them down this morning, fat full leaves, no damage at all

3 male afk: kinda being ignored inside atm

all these I LST this morning before I left
4 female afk: tied them down throwing pistils everywhere, is it gonna stop and grow more, or is she in full bloom and theres no going back?

2 hermies: pulling the couple balls off Ive seen...

Wild thai: going good, some yellowing spots on the top turning to rusty orange, and some small spots on the bottom, I assume grasshoppers and these caterpillars I find and kill

thats it for now...

I gave all my lil girls a haircut (took off 90% of the fan leaves except from the top 2-3 nodes) I have done this many times before, and it has made my plants super branchy, which has started a week ago, so now I can clone a couple before it gets too late (speaking of too late, how much time do I have for vegging now? (central US) Wild Thai are loving it, these guys have had practically no visits from pests (I think I took off one insect, and I don't think it was eating the plant) Every plant has been tied down about horizontally after the 3-4th node, and then it straightened up immediately! AHK are getting taller, no branches, but they've all got pistils where the branches should form, and its about an inch thick, straight white fluffy pistils DWC is a stick. All 6 of them have no branches at all, leaves where branches should form, been giving everyone the same treatment, I'm at a quandary here. Should I:
1. Clone DWC and risk a huge disappointment in the production factor?
2. leave it be, and lose this strain (have to start from seed again later)

Auto CC is looking good, smells like cheesy gym socks, and it is about 15 inches tall, leaning since I tied it, the lower bud sites are starting to perk up a bit more now than they were before the tie down. the top is getting frosty, but doesn't look like its packing any weight.
Blue Thai and one of my molokai kushes are branchy as hell, I can do a half dozen clones or so in the next couple days.

Now, my "previous attempt revisited"

I tried to start my own "farm" earlier this year. I had a nice little set up, and had a bag of some bomb bud that somehow had a billion seeds in it. I had to move from that spot, and lost my stash of seeds, which I named Kushy after the shirt I got from attitude seed bank. This Kushy plant was looking pretty bomb (started in early feb) and vegged under CFL. I had a customer who wanted to help me out (I needed to get rid of my shit after my d-bag roomie dipped out on rent, and told me 23 hours before he was moving (hey uhhh I'm moving pretty soon, good luck finding a new roomie. yeah. f-you) SO after the most nerve wracking drive EVER, I arrived at his spot and set up shop. A couple months go by, and dude drops off the radar, I get kinda spooked cause I'm not expecting that, and other not ok stuff happened in between his going awol and the present day, so I got reason to be worried about him. Last night I got in contact with another buddy, who had his number. I talked to him today (the first guy, the one with "Kushy") and lo and behold, KUSHY LIVES!!!! I'm gonna have to take some pics soon, but here are a few pics (4 months old!!) She's lived her whole life in a 1 gal pot, not what I would have wanted, but... you go off the radar, and you lose your weed help. He says she is about 3 foot tall, no nanners (he don't know what those are, I told him look for balls culo) he says only white hairs, and they're everywhere. so that sounds good. Here's a few pics for the pic whores, and hopefully I will have more photos update, really soon!

Quick check on them today, not much going on, we have a big disadvantage where it gets shade after about 4, but it doesn't get dark til 9ish... kinda cool evenings, one of the AHK is turning a purplish lilac color. I trimmed a bunch more, starting to see a tiny bit of crystals on the AHK and a lot of them on autoCC. Kinda drowned some of the autopounder, we have 3 going, and the guy germinating it decided to put the "dick up" (dumbass is putting the tap root straight UP???) no wonder nothing is really growing now!!! Fixed that problem, and so I should have something good to show in a week or so. I really like the color on the AHK, I'm gonna have to try to pollinate one of the buds, if that one turns purple, maybe the offspring will too. Just read some info on wild thai, its a super long finisher... damnnn its gonna be a while.
Double white cheese finally started to branch out, I have 6 left and they are getting pretty fat, I just wish I could have them in more light, but for safety sake I cant. they do smell pretty good though, can't wait to see them flower, hopefully they are mostly female.
I counted the one little one out early, its growing! Finally damn! lol Everything I have is basically a stick right now, but it is alive, and smells good, so... The BT looks so good right now, she is getting really branchy, I think because she is in a better spot, along with ACC, MK, which are 2 obviously different phenos, does this mean they will taste different too? One is about 4 inches taller, even though I have tied them down, and trimmed the leaves. Both of them smell like coffee, and spices. The reggies are doing really really good they have super fat stems, the thickest of all of them, I'm praying at least one of the 2 is female. one of them has longer more regular leaves, and a slightly more sour smell, the other has long leaves which are slightly thicker and more jagged and irregular. they came from the same stock, but the one has 9 leaves, the other only 7.

OK, BCBUD is finally back online, so I can share with you the beginning of Hempwood Forest. Unfortunately I did not get a completely BEFORE pic, but I do have some stages of it.

So, first lets go for a walk. Its not too far back, but far enough, and the wind blows in a good direction.
hempwood.jpg

Now we gotta stop and take a rest, if you need a smoke, go ahead but toke it up under this tree so you don't smoke on my children!
field.jpg
While we're here, take a look to the left, nice big field gets plenty of sunlight, this is where we start them off to give them the most use of the sun (and we can pull them back in the shade if they're youngun's and need a break. If you look carefully, you will see a trashcan in this pic. that can has been replaced by 2 molokai kush, 1 Blue Thai, 1 White Widow, 1 Auto critical Cheese (this spot gets a little more sun than the rest, so these ladies are staying, for now)

If you follow me here to the left side, you will see
overflow.jpg
This is where we get our water. Fishes, frogs, turtles, ticks (damn ticks) pretty much everything in the water, it smells like muddy fish. We use the old fashioned bucket-on-a-line method for getting this water. Sometimes we get tadpoles or minnows. they get dumped on the plants with the water, hopefully their little corpses add something to the nutritional value of the dirt.

And now we turn the corner and
treed in.jpg

You might notice if I ever get my camera fixed, that none of this junk is in the way now. Took a mower over this section, a tree trimmer, and finally a mulcher. Free of most weeds ('cept cannabis, you are a special weed) the only plague now is the poison ivy, which I'm trying desperately to kill, and not touch. I got a SOG set up, that will be filled with Auto Pounder at the front (closest to the side with the water) and the strains go: AP, Wild Thailand (8-9) INDOOR afghan/hindu Kush (4-5, several have been showing balls, and pistils, been pulling off the balls as fast as they pop, which now isn't quite so often) Double White Cheese (6) gonna put 30 Auto candy kush behind the DWC. This plot is situated North-south, so it gets a lot of sun in the middle of the day, and minimal sun the rest of the time, which kinda sucks, but I gotta go with what I have. on the right side (of the pic) there is about 4-6 foot of honeysuckle/blackberry trees and massive vegetation, on the far side of that is a monster cornfield. Here's some baby pics:

the fam.jpg
aren't they cut little buggers?

and finally, I have been taught that no great undertaking should begin without the blessing of deity, here is mine:
santamuerte.jpg
La Santa Muerte (Holy St. Death) the Mexican goddess of what else but ganja! She's holding my pipe, with my Machete which was used to hack down a lot of this growth, and she has some seeds in front of her to bless them with her presence. She is currently hangin out at the spot, keeping her watchful eyes on the family.

So, until I get a new cam lol, peace

I've only fed them 3 times, i forgot to do anything today except water them, I was thinking about getting some tap water and letting it sit for a day or so to get rid of the fluoride or whatever crap they try to poison us with, and flushing them with that plain water a couple times before I go to this bloom nutrient, 14-24-18, which I was gonna start at half strength.

I saw several bugs today, no moths. A few tiny winged green things that kept trying to escape, but I killed them with my scissors. A few inch worms, which I killed, and a couple leaves had been taken by silkworm/moth larvae, not sure what... I cut them off and killed whatever was inside. A huuuuuge orange wasp has made its home among the DWC, which is not ok, cause it sounds like a machine gun whizzing past my ear when it attacks, which is quite often.

The sole survivors of that last order was 1 kandy kush, 1 auto fruit, 1 silver haze, and 1 royal haze, what a let down.

The 2 reggies are doing great, much fatter stalk than any of these genetics I paid for, they will probably be good hemp producers and terrible weed lol. One of them is showing preflower and its a girl! the other one is showing
Blue thai is only about 10 inches tall, but if I untied her, I think she would be at least 2 foot or more, the main trunk is tied about 4 inches high, and I'm training her in a circle around the edge of the pot. WW i just tied back, and she is too tall for me to tie her back without breaking, so I can't train her in a circle :( so I will let it go from there.
The big Molokai Kush is showing preflower, and she's a girl! yay! the other one has not shown a thing, and is a lot shorter. I supercropped the big MK twice, and it responded by getting super tall and fat and bushy, emphasis on the super tall part, she is easily 2 and a half feet, and as thick as my thumb.

None of the Wild thai are showing anything, on two of them the leaves got real droopy after I watered them, and kinda stayed that way through the next few hours, they're perking up a bit at nightfall.

The purple AHK is getting real purple, but there is not much bud growth, just about a million white hairs, one or two red ones, and a very deep PURPLE on everything but the pistils, and leaves, there's no bud that I see at all, except where the pistil sprouts from, and there's a tiny bit of frosting. The other ONE good one (goddamn keep the dog out, I nearly cut his head off today when he came tearing up, and he has not been back near the area since then) is showing a bit of purple, the lavendery colour that I saw on the first one before it deepened up. one that got stepped on and taped up, and propped up with a stick is doing pretty good, I took the tape off most of it today so it could grow thicker, and its doing ok, its really really tall, but I guess the others might be that tall if I didn't have them tied down.

One of the DWC is showing sex, and its a girl! another could possibly be showing some balls, but they're not really big enough for me to tell.

I've been using hot pepper water to spray for bugs, the only thing I see is that after I spray, I have a minimal increase of ants, and they are constantly running around, more spastically than ants normally run, I wonder why. Its weird, they run around like crackhead ants for hours, then by the next day they're gone (I haven't noticed them eating anything) and the caterpillars are gone (I check every single day, I got 26 plants to care for, and every time I am there I look for things. I really wish I had a camera, cause there are a few problem signs with leaves I'd like to figure out so I'll describe them, and pray for a camera asap! note, that these are FEW and very far inbetween!

1. On about 4-5 leaves spread through the entire crop, I have noticed that some leaves look bubbly. like, if you take a hard plastic spoon and put it a fryer with hot oil, and take it out, the spoon gets bubbles on whatever was in the oil. thats almost what these look like, its only a tiny handful of leaves, 3-4 plants total affected by it, but its different, and its not the whole leaf, its maybe half of 2-3 of the leaflets out of 7-9, the colour is the exact same through everything. I have not seen pictures that look like it, I am trying to find something.

2. on the bottom side of several leaves (this is slightly more, but I'm not sure it is a problem, it could be so I wanted to check it out) it looks like dozens of tiny pin pricks, when you look from the top, they are either invisible or hardly even noticable, I assume its from insects, but I dont see any bugs or anything. The leaves, aside from these pinhole markings are just fine, they don't seem to droop or anything.

3. (really wish I had a cam for this one) the Blue Thai is a lighter yellow green than the rest, which looks kind of like a N deficiency, but its growing at a steady pace, and actually is one of my bushier plants. I was wondering if it was a deficiency, or if the plant was just that much lighter shade (seeing as how the growth hasn't slowed) She is actually about the same color that the baby pic of her is, the others are a bit greener I guess.

I will have some pics up soon, the ACC is I think 3ish weeks, the triches are a blinding white all over, but it turns 70 days in about 12 days, I think she will be done closer to 80
"More than 1 meter tall and rock hard buds ensure a high level of production in just 10 weeks." from dinafem

"about 2.5 foot tall, rock hard tiny buds maybe lol, funktastic smell though" me, the guy growing it. of course it was outside from July 1, I'm sure if I had supplemental lights it would be bigger and more badassy, right now, it looks like its gonna yield me 3-4 blunts and a bit of trim

Terrible pics coming your way, I got a cheap disposable phone, tried to take some pics today, terrible 1.2mpeg quality woo hoo!

Left: WW (dinafem) mid and right: Molakki Kush (hazeman) you can tell the size difference of the MK (big one is about 3 foot) they both smell like hashy coffee.

ACC looking to finish up in a week or two, I can see amber with my naked eye, a few trichomes, I would say no more than 5-10% are amber, I have a little more than half of my pistils that have changed to red, I'm guessing I gotta wait till all the pistils turn red to harvest? some parts are still bone white pistil, some parts are solid red dryed pistils that have crystallized with white, some pistils are half red/half white, most are either the red/white abomination, about half are fully red, and the remainder is fluffy white. I hope that it is clear in the pic, but I am almost sure that the pics are too low quality. I've been careful to only smoke the sugar leaves I trim, so I can't say much on the smoke. I can say it tastes like super sour skittles, fruit kind like lemon/limey sour, not grape or watermelon, or whatever skittles taste like (note, I will have to buy some skittles to remember what they taste like lolololololol)

Molokai Kush- you see the 2 I have in the pic, one is super bushy, super tall (I broke that motherfucker 3 times.... THREE times... and she responded by getting fatter in the stem, flipping me the bird, and growing to 3.5ish foot tall. thanks Molokai for that... the other Molokai is shorter. I'm thinking the genetics I wanna save are from the bigger bush, am I right? They showed sex about a week ago.

White widow- looks like my big Molokai, except smells more hashy, less coffee-y, and she is more bushy, the leaves aren't as fat.

Blue Thai- I wish I had a pic to show her justice. I was originally gonna tie her down, and train her in a circle, I got the tie her down part right, training, not so much. I have a solid 1x1x1 foot cube of blue thai, I know she gonna improve, and she's already great!

Wild Thai- had some males show their ugly ass balls. Instead of culling them outright, I dug them up. WT didn't seem to mind being transplanted that much, and the 2 boys perked right up after an hour or so. I got a couple throwing hairs, and at least 3 that are keeping their sex a secret, for now. I think 2 are definately females for sure, I have 1 that is a most likely female

AHK- I got 3 left. wow. I think I started with 11. what gives? oh right, dogs, and klutzes... God sometimes I wish I just had a million dollars so I didn't have to rely on anyone else help (then again, when he came up to me today and told me I was gonna have 2.500 in a couple days, to spend on what I want (obv. grow stuff only(man I wanted that pony)) I think I'm doing good. One of them I named Grapeghanistan (its an afghan/hindu mix, and on really cold nights this thing looks and smells like a grapevine, dark purple almost black hues. Its been super hot, 90-100s lately, and the purple look is faded, it kinda smells like purple flowers (I know that purple isn't a smell, but there is something that makes me think purple when I smell it..)

Black Russian- both of these turned out to be male (DAMN)
Black Cheese- pretty sure its a male, or it got killed off a while ago... again, damn...
Double white cheese- I had 4 that were at least 3 foot tall. 2 males, 2 females. I have 2 runts. one male, one female. I was praying that both runts were male, and I would be spared another larger female. not happening.... (have heard that White crosses like to confound and confuse growers. Crossing fingers again... I dug up all males and transplanted them out the way. at the very least, I will get a couple nutsacks of pollen, at the worst I will be able to make low grade hash/oil (ooooo experiment time for me, yay!)

2 reggies- fat fat fat fat, these things are as big around as my thumb, 3 foot tall if they're an inch, they smell like weed. I wish they had an exciting smell (oo (insert awesome smell here))

I believe I have 26 girls remaining (hopefully no tomboys in hiding)

If you saw my abysmal first attempt at an indoor grow, you might be interested to know the one I called "Kushy" (not cause of its geographical origins, but because of the fact I got a free t-shirt) is still alive, doing well, is a FEMALE and she is flowering quite happily (yay, hope I get some free bud outta it, and I really hope I can take pics)

From my autopounder order (epic fail) I have 1 auto fruit, 1 auto candy kush, and 1 silver haze remaining. the AF is kinda lagging, the ACK and SH are on their 2nd true node, thank god, I might be able to leave them outside...

I've been regularly attacked by this construction sign Orange Wasp (hornet?) deally that sounds like machine gun fire as he whips past my head (he likes to dive bomb me, scare me to the point where I wanna crap myself, and then I run like a mofo outta there) thank GOD i found some raid. Take THAT!!! I bombed his lil hole in the ground (all 12 of them, probably missed some...) and haven't seen him since. *whew* I found a bottle of water, which had 3 seeds in it, not sure where they came from, but they were growing strongly, so I put them in sphagnum peatmoss, and I think I ripped off one of the tap roots (I am such an unloving parent)

am I missing something? oh right... pictures.../

any comments? i got some pis up, i have 70 more... same quality though

well, i didnt have time to put more research into it at the last second, but I'm hopeful that it works on some of them. I did cut off low branches, from the lowest 1-2 nodes that had good branches, I didn't cut off the whole branch, they have a little veg time left I think. I clipped a couple small buds off the ACC, trying to oven cure them now, just for a quick taste. I cut off a few sugar leaves, and trying a QWISO, first time I did that, and I used a freaking paper towel to filter, lol I shoulda grabbed the coffee filters at the store, I woulda felt better about that. The alcohol turned green and is drying. I could only find 91% iso, which is gonna kill me, but oh well, I'll keep my eyes out for stronger stuff. I got some natural spring bottled water, thats the only water I'm using for my clones. Sucks about that acidic part, I wish I knew that yesterday, but oh well, I'll work with it. I got about 20 clones today, and maybe a little heat stroke. its been 100s all week, no shade, no rain. Rain predicted, but its been absent.

Larry the wasp has been absent for a couple of days, I'm hoping I killed him, I am not missing his divebomb attacks on my life.

I took the clones inside, I breathed on them to get CO2 into the baggies before I taped them over the top, they steamed up so fast, and some of the clones got limp. All of them came from lower branches, except one that was the top of a WT. Some of them are doing better than others. Gonna have to put them on life support for a week or so, crossing fingers. This has been fun, but getting the clones to root is gonna be a chore, I wish I had better equipment, but I ride a bike to my site, I almost died carrying half a gallon of water (weight problems on my bike, I leaned to the left and could turn to the right without breaking my neck)

Larry the wasp has come back with a thirst for my blood... damn bastard! I got some pics and some updates

I found an indoor grow site... as in I was growing indoors, and THOUGHT the plants no longer existed. I will have to start an indoor thread for them, as they are inside and not out.

Out of 20ish clones, 5 got moldy, 15 are still doing good, out of the 15 only about 2, maybe 3 are wilty at all, I gave them a shot of plain water, and took the baggie off the top so they can get some oxygen and breath, I will put the baggies on them tomorrow, they are still very wet in the soil.

finally-
found a couple more boys today, I was so irritated (and we already have more men of that same breed) so I cut them down. gonna try to make some hash or oil or something. I got some 91% iso, I will blend them up and try that Qwiso, hopefully I do it right this time, last time I made a black sludge, and dried it on a porcelain plate, which is soooooo more porous than glass.

I'm down to 5 Wild Thailand Kush, 4 Afghan/hindu Kush 3 Double White Cheese 2 Molokai Kush, Blue Thai, White Widow, 2 reggies, and 1 Auto Critical Cheese. I have some babies: Candy Kush (auto), Royal Haze, and something else which I can't remember.

They are all getting humongous. There are some signs of nute deficiencies, finally (I'm not wishing ill towards my plants, I just seemed to have kept them really healthy for a while, and they showed no signs of needing anything, till now.

On several plants, I found 2-4 small leaves that were yellowing, maybe 1 or 2 leaves that were yellow with black. This was maybe 5-6 plants total out of 20 something.

On 2 of the wild thailand, I see a bit of rust spots on the top, not a whole lot.

On the Blue thai... I see no discolouration or anything, but the leaves are limp. they are green as can be, and whole (no burns, no bugs, nada) but the leaves are just super limp. the stems are strong though.

I fed every one a light feeding of the MG rose bloom stuff, BT seemed to perk up a bit, just a bit on the top before I left. Its getting kinda stanky out there now lol. I'm liking that, and I'm liking how much I see coming out of the molokai kush and white widow. Since it FINALLY cooled down a bit, the AHK finally started purpling again, and Grapeghanistan is looking stellar (thats my pet name for my purplest AHK) She smells like grapes more than anything else, even more than the hint of skunk that is still present, and has the prettiest purple colouration going on, one more AHK is slightly purple, but grapeghanistan is just out there.

males I got going now are
double white cheese 2x One of these is shorter and less branchy, I think I'm gonna save the one that is taller and more bushy

Black russian (a let down, only because BOTH were male (I killed the other one today)

Wild Thai (I had a choice of a few of these bastards, I went with the one that is bushy, but not tall and stretchy, I have 2 growing, but I killed the rest of the males, I will kill my tall stretchier one today)

I think thats all I have today guys. I harvested half of the Auto Critical Cheese today, it was turning a kind of golden colour, and all the pistils were red. the buds I left on the plant are not quite as golden hued, and they have lots and lots of white pistils, so I think it can keep on going for at least a week. Gonna cure right this time, I got 2 sticks with buds hanging in the garage right now, hoping for a good smoke!

some pics, probably crap quality, but one good one

Wild Thai Male. I thought this looked picturesque. I tied him down, then he showed me his balls so I untied him and transplanted him

no comments?

The blue thai was just a little too wet, I let her dry out, and then watered her again, and she perked up fine as can be.

Harvested another branch of the ACC, there was a lot of fresh calyxes that popped up after I took off the first 2 branches, they are clear triches, and white pistils. more and more and more crystals just EVERYWHERE!! No clue where they came from as they were definatly not there last week. I'm not complaining no I'm not. The smoke was amaaaaaaaaazing, and I didn't even give it a good cure.

That said, I pulled a lower bud from Grapeghanistan, and that shit blew me outta the water, tasted a little florally, like grape or plum with fresh flowers, and it was super early, can't wait to see what comes out of it.

Bad news here, my friend who got me started in all this has Dengue fever. I'm not sure how bad it is, but I hope he has a speedy recovery, so if anyone feels like sending some karma his way, please do so, E will appreciate it. He's been doing this for about 30 years, and he took the time to teach this young screw up here, and I think he's been doing a good job!

Going to transplant to the dirt now. Everything that is in pots has a N def. everything that is in the soil has no def at all. hmmmm...

alright, comment here people!!

First, Sorry to hear about your friend. Hope he has a speedy recovery!
Second, what nutes are you using, if any? Are you doing two grows - 1 indoor and 1 outdoor?
Looking at the date of your first post, it was also the first day I started my grow. Although, mine didn't come from seeds. Like you, I had a buddy who was helping me out, but he gave me a couple of plants that he didn't want.
It sounds like we're in the same phases and stages of our grow...give or take. My buds are starting to get darker hairs, but I haven't noticed the trichomes turning amber yet, if anything mine are going from clear and taking on a milky appearance. I've been pulling popcorn buds every few days to sample. I can definitely tell a difference in the last couple of weeks. Looking forward to seeing the end results! Good luck!

From my friend E
"hey bro, yes it will be ok, just really energy-sucking and quite annoying. I've got a terrible rash right now, arm legs completely red, hands and feet swollen and stingy but that is suppost to be near the end. /In a few days I'll be back to normal"

God I hope he is right and he gets well soon. I should send him a card with some homegrown beans, unfortunately my pollen didn't take (way too wet) and SOMEONE ripped off the tops to all my males (pollen sacks were about 3 days away from being ripe, I know who that someone was lol, I'm just kinda mad he did that when I told him we were gonna save them, now I got a week or so left, and I want to see which males are my studs)
Studs to choose from:
Double White Cheese (I chose the shorter of the tall ones, because he was a lot bushier. The tallest one was tall, and had small branches that were stretchy, then I had a super short one as well to choose from)
Black Russian Thick stem, moderate branching (unfortunately BOTH were males, they were almost completely identical, so I just killed one at random.. eeny meanie miny moe...)
Wild Thai I have 2 males to choose from, this is where that beheading is bothersome to me. L was only trying to keep them from busting a nut on the virgins, however, the nuts weren't even read to bust yet :( However that topping is making the side branches bust out, so hopefully I will be able to choose a stud within next week. I told L KEEP YOUR DIRTY HANDS OFF... lol it was much more polite than that. Please don't be touching the little boys L. Its not nice. I didn't know you were Catholic. ahaha that was a joke. hope not to offend anyone.

anyway, nutes being used:
MG rose bloom (super light, I use about 1/4 the amount it says) I don't use a lot because its not organic, my buddy told me it has arsenic among other things. then I use pond water with fishes and tadpoles, if I am lucky enough to catch them, I bury them right by my plants. I gotta run so I will finish updates in a bit
