If you are going to use rockwool..you can germinate them directly in the rockwool. This will eliminate you having to transfer the seed and possibly cause stress upon the root if you mistakenly touch it. I recommend you put the seeds directly in the rockwool about 1/4 - 1/2 an inch in, but before you do that you need to wet the rockwool slightly with adjusted ph water (i soaked mine with less than 1/4 concentration of nutes). Once you stick those seeds in I recommend you covering them with something, but mist the inside before you cover it. I also recommend you giving it a good light source (bring it close to the soil maybe a foot away from the rockwool). This should help create heat and humidity. I am not 100% sure, but this is what I did to germinate my seeds.

will do, ive already got 6 seeds germing right now, going to buy rockwool tomorrow and put the germed seeds in. if they happen to die out, ill just pop a few more ungermed seeds in.

why would you arrest a person growing less than 1 oz, with a 4.0 gpa, no traffic violations, and no criminal history to speak of? sort your priorities mate...

that sounds good..honestly from my first build I had a lot of seeds left over I tried to plant into the rockwool, but they were so highly soaked and overly watered that they didn't grow. So, I popped fresh new seeds in right next to them and you can see the results in my journal. Also, when you wet the rockwool make sure not to soak it and don't ring it out. Instead just shake it, because this helps to create air pockets in the rockwool and will allow the roots oxygen to take in the nutrients as they grow..for improved speed . lots of folks use and swear by rock wool but i love rapid rooters. they hold some water so you don't have to worry about your seedlings drying out but they don't have the possible health issues or pH problems that rock wool can suffer from.

i use regular netpots filled with hydroton and use a piece of rapid rooter to hold the sprouted seed in place so roots can form without the seed falling through the hydroton.
