so if i make one of the homemade bottle co2 things i should shake it up let it go fo 10 min then take it out and put it outside till the next day? (only 10 min a day during day only)

The plants use Co2 to help during the photosyntheses process. So if the lights are off, you won't need it. I'm not really sure about the whole time thing. I just read somewhere that with a small grow like mine and such a small space, you don't need to let it run too long. So maybe like 10 mins every four hours?

It is generally viewed as good to have a small constant flow of CO2 over the plants at all times the lights are on, dispersed directly over the plants during the time exhaust fans are off.

but i have my fan on during lights on and fan off during lights off. should i switch it or just have the fan go off for a bit each day?

I think I will use it for 15min every4 hours during the lights on time.

Yea, I think it's a good idea to have the fans off or on low at minimum. Keep the area closed up so they will take in as much as possible.
