thanks for the input bro, i guess i'm doing something wrong I planted 10 on the 30th in rockwool and I only have 1 sprout.....wtf can it take longer than 3 days

Blinky, the timeline depends on how you handled germination. If you stick them straight into rockwool it very well could take more than 3 days.

I soak mine for 12-24 hours, then put them in a wet paper towel. The taproot can take 1-3 days to pop out. From there plant them in rockwool/soil whatever, you should see them 2ish days later. Total time to see them for me = 4ish days on avg. So, if you just put the seeds in rockwool, it might take a while, maybe 5 days+.

yeah no i did germinate them and planted 10 with taproots, i got 1 to sprout(BRUTAL) and i am hoping that i didnt cook the others because I kept the heating pad on them on medium under the plastic tray and covered them to promote humidity I'm thinking maybe it got too hot . I removed the one sprout to its own area under 4 cfl's(100w each) I think that was to much for the little guy at first . my one sprout started to lay on its side so i am researching franticly what causes this to happen, Thanks for the advice and everyones pretty patient with noobs on this site,LOL thank God

I'm a noob myself but I'm a good gardener and love weed so that helps

Bain check out the pics i just put up on my grow closet, as you probably know its my 1st and my problem those far has been getting the seeds to sprout. below is a link to my posts anyones feedback would be greatly appreciated, i'm gonna learn from it.

Bain after you plant the germinated seeds, do you hit them with lights right away? If so then how far am i gonna need to keep my 400MH from the soil/seedlings? thanks

yeah I had the lights on, just 1 CFL about 1-2" away. I don't have a MH ballast (searching right now for one) so I couldn't say for sure. a CFL would be a lot cheaper though.

On another topic, we should really stop hijacking this grow journal. I'd be happy to give any advice I can (not that I am an expert or anything) if you contact me via private messege.

2 cfls and 1 fluor that I'm not sure how big or strong but they seem to love it, on the left my aks, then the clones from 2 different females I have flowering right now, my ak47s got some grow big today for the first time at about 1/4 strengh...
