thanks man. Yea the difference I've been seeing each day has really been surprising me. In the threads I've read here about cfl's, alot of people say they are great for vegging but lack when it comes to flowering, I hope I can prove them wrong...lol

Day 12 and all seems well. I just topped off the reservior.

PH - 6.1
PPM - 408
Cabinet Temp - 79.8
Humidity - 52%

Apparently 408PPM is too high for plants this small, the tips of the leaves started to turn brown so I think it's nute burn. I bumped the PPM back down to 216 so they should be ok. Pics are day 13

Somehow it's going pretty smooth so far...hopefully lowering the PPM from 400 to 200 will stop the tips of the leaves from turning brown. I think that was my problem because 2 days ago when I topped off my reservior, I bumped up the nutes a little and then the next day the tips of the leaves looked burnt so I really think nute burn is the culprit...peace
