First time CFL grow using Homebox™

This is me and my bf's first time growing. I had ONE bagseed that I decided to sprout and voila, a plant!

We started the germination January 21st so it has been growing for 11 weeks. Today is the 3rd week of flowering (20 days) so it vegged for 8 weeks, flower for 3 so far.

The grow started with 1 13 watt CFL when it was a seedling but we read freakin everything about growing it seems and now we've got a cool little setup going. It's in a Homebox grow tent with 3 42 watt CFLs, 3 23 watters, and 2 4ft 40w tubes. Hopefully when those stimulus checks go out (THANKS DUBBYAH!) we'll be getting a HPS.

We're using Miracle Grow potting soil along with MG nutes for vegging (24-8-16) (after reading these forums people advise against MG but we didnt have any problems). We topped the plant once. She's now 20" tall and 23" across.

For flowering we are using Schultz Bloom Plus (10-54-10) and are adding Molasses every 2 weeks.
Also, we have a simple bottle with yeast, sugar and water for C02. We had a tank with a regulator (see first pic) but our friend needed it back.

We're just so surprised we were lucky enough to have 1 seed germinated and even turned out to be female.

Here's some pics.
The first one was from 5 or 6 weeks into vegg.
The second pic is a pic of the Homebox setup
The following pics were taken today (3 weeks into flowering).

We'll be updating with pics so stick around :)

:peace:

This is my first time as well but from what I've read and seen in other grow journals you can get some really nice bud with CFLs. You'll just get less of it, but who cares?

A lot of it depends on how you treat the plant in the last 3 weeks of flowering and how you dry and cure your harvest. Follow a tried and true plan and it looks like you can do miracles with these plants.

And as for a week for the seedling to pop out, naaaah. I had ONE 13 watt CFL on my sprout and it popped outta the dirt in 2 days

You were lucky that your 1 seed was a fem, I only got 3 fem out of 10 plants x

your plant looks gnarly!! did you have to train it to bush like that? i plan on stretching my side sprouts to do a similar thing.

seriously beautiful plant though! keep updating with pictures!!!

The only thing close to training we did is we topped it once. It almost looks like it has 4 tops because the 2nd nodes are just as tall as the tops.

I guess it's just a bushy strain? I don't know because it was bagseed but we definately plan on harvesting and reverting back to veg to take a clone. After this plant is done we have some Northern Lights seeds to start up. Maybe we could cross the two plants and have a super bushy northern lights strain :)

Hopefully some more pics will be coming today. One of the top buds got a little burned the other day but she doesnt seem too phased by it. Definately noticed fatter buds this morning.

jw but has anyone seen plants as bushy as this one? I'm just wondering what kind of strain it might be. Most of the pics I see of other plants at this stage aren't nearly as bushy. Def will need to clone this bitch..
