Drews Perpetual Multi-strain grow. 2 1000w HPS/MH Lights & 240w Hydro Blackstar LED

Anyone want know anything about me, or how long I've grow, etc, etc. Go ahead and ask. Comments and advice are welcomed and urged. Other than that, im going to get right down to it.


Equipment
1 flowering tent 4x8x6.5ft tall
1 1000w Apollo HPS bulb with Apollo digital 1000w dimmable ballast and Apollo 6" cool tube hood reflector
1 1000w Apollo MH bulb with Hydrofam Xtrasun 1000w convertable magnetic ballast and Hydrofarm 6" hood reflector with lens
1 440 CFM fan pulling outside air and cooling both lights
1 fan with carbon filter for extraction (not sure of the CFM's of this fan as it was given to me)
I have wired and ran cords through the tents for side lighting by the way of hanging them with CFL's, but im not using these right now

I am currently using my closet for veg, but will be getting another tent soon which will be 2ftx2ftx6ft tall
1 240w 6 band Hydro Blackstar LED
2 45w Pro Grow LED glow panels for clones and babies
1 Propigation Dome for clones with heating mat


Nutrients are almost the entire Fox Farms line. Big Bloom, Grow Big, and Tiger Bloom. I also use the Cha-Ching, Open sesame, and Beastie Blooms soluables.
I am watering with a RO system and adding Cal Mag to suppliment

Soil is a mixture of Fox Farms Ocean Forest, Vermisoil, and Perilite. I sometimes mix these together or seperature depending on how busy I am or if I can get to the local hydro store after work. I like the vermisoil better as it seems to be less nutrient-charged and more forgiving, especially on smaller plants.
All plants/clones are started off in 1 gallong grow bags then I transplant them to the 5 gallon felt pots
I will be phasing the Fox Farms out and am going organic with Earth Juice.

Now for the exciting part
Flowering tent......
1 girl scout cookie
1 sour diesel
1 amnesia haze
4 white widows
1 carmelicious

All plants except the GSC are well into flower ranging from 20-47 days. I will have some pictures with days into flower and measurements up later as I just recently started tracking how fast they're growing.

1 Girl Scout Cookie
1 White widow teen clone
1 Girl Scout Cookie teen clone
4 baby white widow clones
1 baby sour diesel clones

In my Propigation dome I currently have GSC, White Widow, Carmelicious, and Diesel clones trying to root

When you say perpetual grow,

Do you mean, new plants every week so eventually every harvest is a weekly basis

or

Do you bring your plants back after harvest?
I started to do this with my plushberry, but I do it with as many as I can now.
When finished I just take the big flowers and leave the small growth.
Throw them under 24hr light and after about a month you have a whole mew plant ready to clone or veg off of.

Welcome aboard. Im planning it so ill harvest once every other week. Right now every week is just too much work. Hell I already spend enough time in my garden weekly. Its almsot like a second job to me but I really enjoy it. I just harvested some Northern Lights off an auto at the beginning of last week and 2 carmelicious plants this week. Im almost out of my last crop so this will be cutting it close for me.

Thanks for the kind words. Id like to harvest once evey other week if possible.

Killer setup and your plants look seriously amazing. Nice work. Can't wait to watch this all progress. I am hoping to increase my grow area so I can harvest more regularly like you are doing.

Thanks bro appreciate it. I'll have tons more pics up tonight with led set up as well. All you really need to do is find a second area to veg and rotate another plant or 2 every few weeks. You may not have as many plants as me but with a nice 2x2 you could harvest pretty regularly

That's cool,

I started out every other, b/c it was hard to get the plants to harvest when I wanted vs when the ladies were ready.
They are all individuals as my brother would say.

I also found it easier to attach floro tubes to my side walls to light up the undergrowth.

My original plushberry released back on 4/20 a few years ago has a remarkable trait. If I only cut the caps back to harvest that bitch just flips back into veg under 24hr light. Then I wipe the stalks down with a sponge and alcohol to prevent mold when she starts pushing out new leaves from the buds I left on her.

I think I am going to get that blue clone mother light from the lowlightgenetics website and I will post some pics once I get one to revert so you can see what I am talking about. Its pretty cool, it makes like a new seed leaf but X-tra large and once it has that you get a whole new plant to clone from and re-flower in a few weeks.

I am really thinking I am going to buy all those lights I'm thinking just b/c of how harsh people were on the website to see what those LED's can do. The website pics look promising, but I seen faked photos before so a purchase is whats needed to really make a comparison.

I personally had a nasty power surge rip through a lot of my LED's and blew em up. So I am using my tax money to replace them. Maybe I will do a grow journal just to show everyone what a so called newb can do with LED's.

So the day before yesterday I had to move my OG Diesel and Sour Diesel out of my veg closet because they were just getting too big and hogging all the light from the other plants. My flowering tent is packed so I had to invade the spare room closet and rig it up real quick for a temporary flowering set up. Not bad for a 1/2 hrs work and spare parts right?



The bud shots are the finished product I got off my 2 Carmelicious plants. After they were all dried, hung, and trimmed I ended up with 73g. So after curing im guessing ill loose another 10-13 grams.

First 2 are the Sour Diesel at 30 days in flower, Then the Girl Scout 10 days into flower, The the last 2 are my white widow and its cola at about 48 days.

A few quick updates and some pictures. My new veg tent came monday so my master closet is finally free. The only thing I have left in it is what I have left of my rooted and unrooted clones which ill be moving into the tent as soon as I can figure out how to divide it into 2 rooms by using a shelf. It measures 30"x30"x84" tall.

For veg ill be using my 240 Blackstar LED and once summer hits ill be moving everything I have left to outdoor and growing a few select strains under this LED from start to finish. Im thinking mostly my purple strains

In my veg tent now I have.......
2 Real Girl Scout Cookie Clones (SCM cut. Not sure if they're thin mints or platinum)
2 Tahoe OG clones
2 SCM GDP clones
1 Chemdawg clone
1 SCM Sour Diesel clone
1 Sour Diesel that I clone myself from a massive mother

I started from seed 2 Northern Lights Autos and 1 Northern Lights x Big Bud Auto (not sure if ill keep them indoors or transfer them outdoors once it warms up)
1 regular Blue Cheese from seed which I will be applying Uncle Bens topping technique to

The top arrow shows a died up small flower that was left after harvest.
The second arrow shows a branch of new growth. This appeared from inside the bud that was left on the stem.
Finally the bottom arrow shows a huge knot that was created from the new growth feeding the plant.

I like this method of growing, it allows you to keep a good strain and the following harvest is usually better since the roots remain. I usually will re-bag into more soil after a second veg before flowering again to give the roots extra room & new soil.

Been really busy and lost my job a few weeks ago so I've been looking for work. Ill have lots of pics up within the next few days
