ALL RIGHT. They sexed!

The male is Pepper. Sorry for the blurry pic; I'm glad I got some past exp. Otherwise I would have stressed my conclusions.

But there are distinctive balls on Pepper; Anyone know what to do with male marijuana plants? I've heard you can smoke them but how about using the cuttings in butter?

Anyway, three are confirmed female by the white pistils. Each pic is representative of the plant. =) I've got one left, Dinky, who has yet to flower. I've never had more than one turn out female so this will be a new experience for me.

not really an update.

I took aside Pepper and I contemplated just tossing him out; Instead, I cut/ground him up, put him in three tablespoons of butter along with water, and is now simmering overnight.

I haven't been baked for 4 months so I figure it's worth a shot. Should be enough butter to make a batch of cookies, anyway. Plus, it's research for how I should consume my girls.

I'll keep you posted on that.

Also, Dinky has not sexed as of yet. I'm happy with 3 so I won't be disappointed, especially if Pepper gets me high.

All right, here's what I did.

Used a coffee grinder and coarsely ground the male plant. I snipped it at its base and plucked off the leaves (small and large) along with flowering head. Greenman's page states these are second highest THC parts of plant, male or female.

Had about 1/2 cup of stuff (it was a small plant). To concentrate the effect, I made a small batch of butter, about 3 tablespoons of butter. Added water, let it ON LOW (no simmer, but still pretty warm) for 8 hours (went to sleep), then filtered out the gunk and put it in the freezer.

Came home from work, the butter was frozen on top of the water. Got the bowl in the fridge to make sure I didn't miss alot that had frozen (my original instructions were to refrigerate 24 hours). I came out to 1.5 tablespoons of butter.

Thus, I made 3 cookies.

I can post the recipe, but it tasted like...almost like grass. But I wolfed it down with a beer. That was 7:00, on an empty stomach, 1.5 cookies prior to eating, 1.5 afterwards.

7:30 - No change. Not feeling it.
8:00 - Felt like a high, possibly trying to imagine it.
8:30 - Whoa, I'm killing fools on CoD4.
8:40 - Dude, am I high?
8:42 - Dude, am I high?
8:43 - Oh shit I'm high!

Anyway, on a scale of 1-10, I'd give this a 7 at this moment. But at 8:43, I'd give it a 8.5.

Plus, I'm just thankful it worked. The high I get from smoking joints is about comparable to right now. But I did have to eat 3 cookies, lol.

11:08 - Still pretty buzzed; thinking crazy thoughts. 6.

11:21 - Felt pretty anxious so I did some reps, push ups and crunches.

Those cookies had 5 tablespoons of sugar so I'm riding a sugar buzz too. LOL. Haven't smoked in a long time (~4 months) and never experienced it through ingestion. I'm thinking of using one plant for cooking, maybe half. And just trim the buds, use the rest (plant leaves, stems) for butter which is a more efficient use for me since I only use cfls.

1:34 AM Okay, starting to come down pretty good. I wrote some shit out, watched a short movie. 3-4. Haven't had one that stuck with me like that since I started smoking.

okay, it's 1 in the morning. made another batch of cookies; sacrificed a female, can't remember her name at the moment. took about 7 hours with 2 cups of butter on simmer, another 4 hours in the freezer to scrape off the butter and now i'm 12 cookies richer!

just checking how i do with 2 cookies instead of 3; plus, the potency should be stronger since this was a female plant with much more leaf matter.

what's ironic about this is i made this batch so i could play my xbox, but come to discover it's flashing 3 red lights tonight. WOW.

okay, just finished watching stealth. jessica biel is smokin hot, i've come to realize.

i feel tired, a little short-term memory. i think my last batch took an hour and a half to start to feel the effects. either mine is coming on right now or i'm sleep-deprived.

all right, so i figured out that if i double the dosage, i'll probably get a head high, but this is a body high? i don't know if that makes sense.
