here is my new grow...
outline:

lights - 8 bulb 4'x2' t5, all grow bulbs. love this thing!
just a few inches over the plants, temp stays around 77

plants - soaked 5 white white widow and 5 ak48 (nirvana) on 3/21/08, planted 3/22
as of now i have 5 AK and 4 WW, (ill get pics tonight if you're lucky) and one AK is mutant with 3 sets of leafs instead of 2.. his name is tripod. 3AK and 3WW are all about the same size and maturity makes it easy to use the flouro. right now i have 5 bagseed in some water i will plant tonight, as well as 10 hindu kush (nirvana) that i will be planting sometime during this grow.

out of this i will be picking 1ww, 1ak, and maybe 1bs for a mom. i will be keeping pretty detailed records all through till drying. i want to establish a SOG

this weekend im rebuilding the room, will probly frame in the bottom (floor is cold concrete) and frame in the veg room right outside the flower room and hang up some panda. as well as installing some door locks. room is behind 3-4 locked doors.. call me paranoid

im probly going to order another T5 like this for the flower room, and i am looking at this growroom software Growtronix, Greenhouse Controller and Grow Room Computer Automation System
other then that i would like to buy/build a hydro system once i get some mothers picked.

just planted 2 of the nicer looking bagseeds that pop'd... this will just be for fun and as grow room fillers once i find out the sex of the others...

also need to repot this weekend ....add that to the list

DAY 31 of veg

4WW all 7-8" tall and 10-11 leaf sets
4AK all 4.5-6" tall and 8-11 leaf sets
2BS one 5 leaf set, one 3rd leaf sets
one runt ass AK that is a month old and is an inch tall... it is a horrible plant that deserves to die
but for the sake of science i will let it live. for now.

most in 3 gal pots
the best AK and best WW are in 5 gal pots
(most nodes, shortest, most rugged, fastest shoot growth)

think iv decide to put the BS at a secure outside location
ill let em veg a little longer and once the weather gets a little better ill go for a hike

i also installed a DIY co2 bottle behind the fan (sugar, water, purple... i mean activated yeast)

i mist them a couple of times a day, they seem to like it. but i will stop once flowering starts
hopefully this coming weekend
still a few things i need to get to finish up the veg and flower rooms.
sorry for the lack of pics, the room isnt done yet and they arent that really exciting to look at?
once i have it the way i want it, and its something to be more proud of you guys can check it out
(untill then i am aware i will get about the same amount of traffic, i can deal)

DAY 40 of veg
looked at them last night... and all the WW are showing sex... 3 female and i THINK a male... but ill keep an eye on it...
(ww are all 12-15" tall)

lights are still on 24/7... once the clones i took are stable ill put into flowering

DAY 41 veg
looked closer during watering last night... 6 females, 3 ww and 3 ak. one ww i THINK is a male and the mutant AK... tripod.. isnt showing sex yet...

i took more clones and putting the big ones into flowering 2moro (need to get a better timer, with a ground) the clones will probly go into flowering too in a few weeks

i will probly move the male off once i know for sure, and collect some pollen to cross back with my fav WW and cross with the ak48... what would that be called!? and maybe later with the hindu k

right now i have 8 plants that are almost at 6 weeks of veg, and 26 clones (20 of which are from females) in 2 DIY easy cloners. it worked out nicely that the 2 favorite most rugged plants in the bigger pots are both female.
so if i keep one of each plant as a mother and flower the rest of the clones that leaves me with 6 big plants and 14 clones... then once i decide the 2 i like the best ill flower the other 4 in a few months.


i have used no nutes other then whats in FF ocean forest mix, and superthrive with every watering.

got pics but im tired... night all!

picked up a grounded timer and a 4" duct fan from the local hydro store.. after i get done with yard work i will install it

i see the first faint root hairs on the first set of clones

oh yea i moved the male WW to a sunroom in some bay windows (no chance of anyone seeing him, at all)... really interested in breeding him, hes very talk dark and handsome. leaf is very dark, almost black/green when its not under the T5's.

and i still haven't added any nutes...im thinking i will start at 2 weeks in 12/12... heard good things about tiger bloom, figure ill pick some up this weekend. anyone have any experience with it?
