Okay so after so so so long, I have come back to share my dream with u all. I have planted a seed, my first ever a while ago, and let it veg for about (10-12 (edit) weeks. Then I set into flower about a month ago. I hope you all enjoy the pics and tell me what do you all think.

Seed comes from a bag of some "Afgan Goo" was the only seed in the bag, and the bud was great. Got lucky on the $20 I got, first time I got a seed from some good shit like that in ages. So this time i decided to plant it.

After about 30 days she has a amazing smell from the oils when u touch the buds or the bud leaves and smell ur fingers it seems like a lot like sour diesel, or a really sweet kush hard to put my finger on still. The growth looks sativa like and I know sour is more in that bracket then the kush. Hope you all enjoy the pics, and I will be up to date.

Once again thank you all for the info u have passed along to make my dreams so vivid.

Veg under cfls 2 cool 120 watt floods and with flowering I added 3 cfl warms up top and put blue under.

30 Days Old: I am showing my pruning, fimming, and stem removal. The 2 bottoms were higher then the tops but that quickly changed. We all learn, next time there will be a difference. Should I keep the bottom 2 stems or is it to late to remove maybe, or would it be a good idea?

Also, info on what i did, I planted in organic soil, no fertilizer. Once she was larger i fed with some mirical grow fertilizer. When she was ready to flower I transplanted with all its soil and added mirical grow soil all around to fill in the new larger container. I then switched from mirical nut to ff nutes. Just the standard 3 and kept to that. Container I have has its own reservoir underneath about 3 inches that has dips to let soil and roots reach into the water to keep it moist.

I know people said that mirical grow can cause over feeding and nut burn, but I decided it will only get the MG after it has grown more and it will introduce itself to it a little at a time and hopefully provide it with anything extra she may need.

I am running into a slight bug problem I have those little nat looking things around the plant. None are ever on the ;eaves, and I kill as many as I can. I have let the soil dry out on top and have treated the area around the plant with bug spray. It hasn't gotten out of control but im tired of the daily examining and killing of bugs. Any cheap ideas to rid them and what is needed to prevent this?

the reason you're not getting many responses is because your posts are too early in the day. they get buried by newer posts and nobody sees them. try posting or bumping your post between 6pm and midnight eastern standard time

so, great first grow, especially with cfls compared to others on this site.

comments:

it looks like you've shelved the 1000 hps for this grow? that light is more than you need (something rarely heard on riu) and will be a real pain to try and cool even with a vented hood. without one or a/c you are dead.

your comments about pruning concerned me a little. there are only a couple of ways to prune right and a million ways to mess it up. can you be specific on what you did?

yeah, i steralized a scissor and i cut leaves that were drying out and or blocking bud sites. since i'm only using cfls i figuerd i don't need many fan leaves since im controling the temp of the closet. if you look at the internodes or stems i removed in that one pic, where I have two lower stems rising and the other 6 above, u can see i removed 2 whole levels and left the lower because it was taller then the rest when i fimmed and assumed it would be okay, but it was quickly out grown.
