Default Newbie45 first grow EVER!! Help!

well heres my first grow but so help walk me through and please tell me if im doing anything wrong and if i need to buy somthing.

about a week old i started the seed off in a wet cotton ball and then i planted it in some soil from my neighbors garden.

i am growing in a orange 30 gal tub like ragincajun right now but my closet grow room is under construction. =)

use perlite/vermiculite i your mix it looks like your using straight soil, your roots need to breath!

yes im growing just one im starting another in a week and im using two 12" plant growing fluorescents from lowes. and how much is perlite/vermiculite

It's about three dollars at wallyworld and well worth it.

my friend just gave me some seeds and some money and told me to split the bud with him once i grow it

tell me how many plant i can fit in here its about 2.5-2.5' and 4.5 high.

i dont have it totally set up yet as you can see the brackets for the fluorescent lamps aren't up

hard to see theres no lights in the closet
