Hey there guys/gals, this is where I will be posting my grow tent's progress for the new year. This setup is located out in my garage, which sometimes makes it a chore to keep the environment just right for optimal growing, but I've done great so far in the past year I've had this tent. Climb on board and post some comments if you like! Here's the setup that I mostly got off htgsupply.com (ballasts from Amazon). I linked them for anybody interested in knowing price or where to get stuff from.

Flowering Tent: Agromax 55" x 55" x 79", two 435CFM 6" fans for intake and exhaust (exhaust also cools lights), 3 oscillating fans, 2 x 400watt lumatek ballast and 1 x 600watt lumatek ballast, 2 x Airflow Fixtures (400watt lights), 1 x Cooltube XL 6 (600watt light), dehumidifier

Vegging Tent: Agromax 52"W x 22"D x 48"H, 4x50watt T5 fixture, 1 clip fan, clone tray with humidity dome

So now that you have seen my setup, here is what I have going at the moment. I've got two keeper phenotypes of Qrazy Train that I like to keep going since it is a great smoke and great seller in my area.

Flowering Tent:

Qrazy Train #1 C5 - 21 days (2.5 gallon)

Qrazy Train #1 C6 - 20 days (2.5 gallon)
0106031909.jpg

Qrazy Train #2 C4 - 47 days (2 gallon)
0106031910.jpg0106031911a.jpg

Qrazy Train #2 C5 - 10 days (5 gallon)
0106031911b.jpg

BC Sweet Tooth - 39 days (2.5 gallon)
0106031911c.jpg0106031912.jpg0106031912a.jpg

DNA Lemon Skunk - 6 days (2.5 gallon)
0106031910a.jpg

Vegging Tent:
2 x sweet tooth clones
1 x QT #1 clone
1 x QT #2 clone
1 x TGA Timewreck seedling (sprouted January 2)

All 4 of the clones just got rooted so i took the dome off today and let them get used to normal humidity levels. The Sweet Tooth takes a little longer than either QT phenos to clone....7 days compared to 4.

Got the clones some new pots to throw down some roots in...A few days from now they should start bouncing back real good from the rooting stress

QT#1 Clone is in a 1 gallon pot
1 Sweet tooth is in a 1 gallon pot, the other sweet tooth is in a 5 gallon felt pot. I got my QT #2 clone under a 150watt HPS to try and get it to vegg a little faster.....hoping to put it in the flowering tent here within a week or so.

htgsupply and amazon....somewhere around $1000. It was upgraded piece by piece so i ended up spending a whole lot more in the long run....started off with open air fixtues and magnetic ballasts and upgraded from there to digital ballasts and air cooled lights...
Here is my old thread from last year....https://www.rollitup.org/grow-journals/513252-55-x55-tent-1200w-perpetual.html
you should check out the first 2 posts of it and compare it to my new equipment....you'll see how much upgrading i did with lights since i first bought that flowering tent.

Thanks, and for anybody in the future, I put links in the first post to where I found every piece of equipment for my grow. The prices seem to have gone up a bit on some of the stuff since I bought it, but there's a roundabout figure....

I'll try to update with pictures every weekend since that is when I have free time to raise the lights and inspect my plants closely...and at the same time take pictures. Just please excuse my camera as it is a crappy iphone 3G....

Did you always have the 2 400 and the 600 in there? Or did you just start with the 6 your really pushin the lights in there you prolly get some rock hard buds though, is heat ever a issue? I just got a 400 and it has the bat wing I did not realize how much heat those things kick off

Dude I feel you on that bro. It pisses me off even more when a newbie to growing has a lot of money and puts it down on a grow that they can't even get to full capacity just because of their skill level....lmao. Thanks for the compliment! I really wish i had more space so i could get another tent to vegg plants under a MH light.....but that may have to wait til i get a new house or a jimmy goad building is an option....Happy growing! :weed:

Qrazy Train #1 C7 (2.5 gallon) - day 25
0113031907.jpg

Qrazy Train #2 C4 (2 gallon) - day 52 (taking her out to 63 days then harvesting)

Qrazy Train #2 C5 (5 gallon) - day 15
0113031909a.jpg

Sweet Tooth (2.5 gallon) - day 44 ---- very distinctive sweet hash smell when slightly rubbed
0113031910.jpg0113031910a.jpg

Lemon Skunk (2.5 gallon) - day 11 --- still no sign of sex, even though it is a feminized seed from DNA.....hmmmmmmm
0113031907b.jpg

Vegg tent is mostly the same as last week pictures, just a slight growth spurt since rooting in the new pots... I transplanted TGA Timewreck today from a 16oz solo cup to a 1 gallon pot. This is day 11 from sprout for that plant.

No updates? I was looking forward to hearing about timewreck
Thanks for showing interest....hell i just stopped updating every week cause not many folks were stoppin by....Timewreck turned out to be a male unfortunately. I'll try to get some pictures up of what I got currently.... Got a QT #2 in both a 2 & 5 gallon, Sweet Tooth in 5 gallon, a wierdo mutant Qrazy Train #1 clone in 2 gallon, and lemon skunk (taking her time) in a 2 gallon. Been kinda busy with college and work which has led my plant count to dwindle down a little bit. But im gonna plant some seeds and take some sweet tooth clones today to try and get my population back up high

How's the QT? I've recently become very interested in TGA (ya ya I know, the bandwagon an all haha). I'm just interested in hearing about people's experiences with different strains. You like the sweet tooth?

Qrazy Train is awesome that's why I've kept both pheno's so long....the purple tinted lemon-berry phenotype might be no more though. The last clone I took started doing this weird mutant leaf thing which I'm not sure about, lol. I'm still smoking on last harvest of the purple Qrazy. The grape tasting pheno (QT #2) that produces much more compact buds is doing GREAT. My 5 gallon QT #2 is nearing harvest and should give me a healthy QP, maybe a little more after it dries. Sweet Tooth is awesome as well. I plan on keeping this phenotype of her....took 3 clones today and put a new 5 gallon girl in the tent along side a more mature sweet tooth. Picture up soon lights just came on in the tent!!

Flowering Tent:

Qrazy Train #1 Clone 8 (weirdo mutant) - 2.5 gallon - day 1
image_8.jpgimage_9.jpgimage_10.jpg

Qrazy Train #2 Clone 5 - 5 gallon - day 57
image_3.jpgimage_4.jpgimage_5.jpg

Qrazy Train #2 Clone 6 - 2.5 gallon - day 30
image_6.jpgimage_7.jpg

Sweet Tooth Clone 1 - 5 gallon - day 20 This plant's my baby...she is a beauty. Already got her nutrients dialed down perfect. Last run she was in a smaller container so that might have had something to do with it as well. I expect big things from this plant ;)
image.jpgimage_1.jpg

Sweet Tooth Clone 2 - 5 gallon - I am keeping her in darkness tonight and adding her to tent tomorrow
image_2.jpg

Lemon Skunk - 2.5 gallon - day 53
Gah....I forgot to get a picture and am too lazy to go back out there to do it....not much to see really i am disappointed with this plant to say the least. Yellowed early on, and nothing i tried seemed to help, so ive just been watering with plain water and hoping i get at least a half ounce or so from this stupid plant.. I've had no good luck with DNA except Cataract Kush.

Nice little grow you have going on, after having researched many of the purps I have come to like this QT, I'm subbed with my ticket in hand and ready to ride the train. :) . What topping method did you use on the QT's to get that fat cola? May you plz give more info on your nute feed. Thanks.. best of luck with your grow..

Yup yup. Okay, so I make super soil using Subcool's recipe and then add a little more to it like kelp meal, some different types of bat and seabird guanos. Let the super soil cook for a good 45 days or so is my rule of thumb. I store it in 55gallon trash cans in my back yard and keep the mix turned and just a little damp. I'm gonna probably start going back solely to 5 gallon felt grow bags, as I feel the smaller 2.5 gallon pots I have used here and there take up just about as much plant space, but cut my harvest in half. Most of my plants get 50% super soil 50% normal organic soil. Grape Qrazy pheno is a heavier feeder and I give her almost 70% super soil to get some rock dense colas. Since I am growing from clones, I top once at 3rd or 4th node of growth. The clones make shaping plants into a bush very easy since they have differentiating branches instead of like from-seed plants which have even branching usually. I've been supplementing the super soil with some organic Earth Juice Nutrients...I usually feed em once every 10 days or so. I start off using the grow formula once they get into the flowering 12/12 tent, and keep using it up until about day 20-30 depending on length of flowering for strain. At day 20 i start flowering and micro. And at day 40 I start Meta-K. Give the plants nothing but plain water the last 15 days before harvest.

Wow , that sounds like much work to start but then it sounds like it get easier once you're into it. Thanks for the detailed response. I've heard the QT is a good yield, what's your take so far?

Yea its definitely a LOT of work setting up the tent with lights and all that but once you get it up and running things usually go smooth unless you flub up on nutrients, or your lights fail, or you get insects. Yup QT is a huge yielder. I'm thinking that QT #2 Clone 5 will yield 5 ounces in 5 gallons of soil. If you can hit that mark, things are going great in my opinion. She roots very fast in as little as 5-6 days as well which is a huge plus if you are taking clones like i do.
