I would definetly veg as long as possible bro...The longer you can veg the bigger the plants will get when inducing flowering. A rule of thumb I see is whatever height your plants are when you induce flowering they should double in height of the veg state...So since your in a tent veg as long as you can untill height becomes an issue. Also what light cycle are you currently running?

Right now I'm running at 18/6 but I'm switching to 12/12 today. If my plants suffered damage from the hydrohut I had, should I wait for them to recover in veg before I flower? Or will flowering now not affect yield?

i have shiva skunk clones and my stems are purple too dnt know why but they are

for yield it depends on how much you want, if you a really big yield let em veg longer

My plants look great since I took them out of the hydrohut. The growth has taken off and the buds are just now starting to form. I am in week two of flowering and last wednesday I pruned the bottom 3rd of all of my plants and watered with half strength flowering nutes.

Just yesterday I noticed some yellowing on the larger fan leaves on a few of my plants. Do you know what this could be? Here are a few pics:





You can't really see it because of the HPS, but there is some slight fading on some of the fan leaves in this picture.

I am currently battling a winged aphid infestation and mysterious yellowing. So, I just watered my plants and released about 50 ladybugs into my grow tent. I also noticed some extreme yellowing on some of the older fan leaves. What could this be?

Also, do my buds look a little behind for week 4 flowering?

Looks good my friend. I don't know why but mine yellow when they start to flower too. I think that it has to do with the energy the plant is using to gro the buds. I wouldn't worry to much about the lower 1/3 of your plant. Any yellow leaves near the bottem will be pulled later any way. I'd increase your nute strength and make sure your using flower nutes high in P and K but since it's still early in the flowering you should still have a good nitrogen count. I use the nutes in my thread and give them full strength with a ph of 6 to 6.5. It keeps my soil at 7 for the best uptake. Good luck, I was starting to wonder if you abandoned your thread...

I'll pull the dying leaves today to let the ladies get some air.

I'm skeptical about increasing nute dosage because my plants are showing signs of nute burn (burnt leaf tips, curling leaves) and other signs that I am not sure how to interpret (interveinal blackening/purpling starting at the outer leaf and progressing inward).

No, just not a whole lot has been happening, and plus I'm a lazy stoner!
