1. when they are in what looks liek to me a homemade hydro kit the stones how key are they b.c someone gave me some wack ass hydro kit and the stones r the same shape on like plastic tho...would they serve the same correct purpous.

2. are your plants hyrdo the entire time they in that hydro like "unit"

3. i also notice you place like a fence above the plants like what looks like to b about a foot above the plants. as they grew i noticed that they basically stopped growing in height b/c they "realized" they couldnt grow thru it well. and it looks alot like they started to widen more so then they grew vertically. (I dont know if what im saying makes any sense im sorry if it doesnt)

4. Does that fence Canopy like promote short "chode" like plants that produce a decent amount of buds

5. I noticed also when they were a few inches tall that they have many good kola sites (multiples per plant). Was this a direct result of trimming the plant at around that size. and what hight should i start to trim mine.

What are you using to tie down the branches to the screen???

Nothing... I just pull them down and across so they keep going to another square..

1..and etc.... Yes its a home made hydro bucket.. the stones are what disperses the air fromt he pump into thousands of little bubbles... those bubble explode up on top and get the little clay pebbles wet (although i like to keep them about 1/2 in the nutrients anyway)

Air is also key so your roots dont die.. ( bigger the pump and more air the better... think aeroponics... )

Fence: i am growing scrog style.. you can search that and youll find a bunch of information about it... but basically you have the plant grow into the net.... then when they are like an inch above the net you pull them under it and drag them over another square... I have to say that it is alot harder than it seems do to the profuse leaves....People say not to trim anything when flowering... but im constantly breaking those leaves off....

By growing in that style the buds that otherwise would have been hiden in the lower section of the plant are now just as tall as the "tops" ... essentially having all of the buds be tops.... tops are just tops cause they are at to top and get more sun without leaf shade.. so yes ... a bunch of tops...

This is my first try and cant wait to see the results... i am growing "da Purps" ..and i havent been able to find alot of pics of a mature purps plant... so not sure what the buds look like... i do know that they are not the sativa donkey dicks... Which is a shame.... imagine!!

I think if you tie the branch down to the screen you don't have to bend the plant so
severly and less stress. Let the plant pop over your net then take a little hairy twistie
wire and make a big loop and secure to branch to the screen above.

No i dont use those damn things.... I wouldnt want to grow above the screen... I want all the salad under the net and the buds only sticking up if i can... I allready filled up every hole.... so i kinda have to let it go right now... OMG... i think i put to many plants !

oh yeah.... You should check out what alittle stress does to the plant... have you ever heard of super cropping? I have noticed more fuller buds on the stems that i pinched.....So i would say that a little stress is gooood

Well Its happened, I thought that it was going to be too much in that small of a space.... As of right now the ladies have taken over... and they will grow as they wish.... Only at day 22 and they allready show me whos boss.... damn it...

All of the wholes are filled and the plant is only creating tops at this point. (instead of branches) I hope... cause if not its going to be like i grew 60 plants in there.... OMG... OK so im highly medicated... and feeling funny about it all...

I think that next time ill just grow them without the net... I think i learned a bunch about toping and supercroping to where the work of the net will be eliminated.

So today i have spent the morning medicated off my ass browsing riu...i got so bored that i decided to get off my ass and make the Co2 generator.

I made the co2 generator bottle .... But of course.. customized the idea....

I installed a line and drilled tiny holes every inch or so... The deal is that in order to get good pressure i installed the other end back into the bottle....

See if you guys like it...

Ill have to install it tonight when the lights come on. I hope i put enough stuff in it... well see if it makes a difference....Ill post more pics after the install ...
